I have a seven week old Black Lab puppy. He is extremely hyper and a I need to teach him to walk on a leash. I tried starting off by just attaching the leash and letting him run around with it, but he chews it up and wont stop. When I put the leash on and try to walk him he runs, jumps, and squirms to get out of his collar. I don’t know what to do. Please help.

It’s not that he doesn’t like being brushed. He likes it so much that he’s rubbing against me and rubbing against the chair and rubbing against everything in sight and won’t sit still long enough for me to be able to brush him.
I’ve only had him for 2 months now. He’s about 5 years old and I know he’s had at least one previous owner. How do you get a cat like this to calm down long enough to be groomed?

I got the IAMS, which I normally do not buy, but I used to. I mixed this with her normal ffod first, to get her used to it, then gave her just the IAMS 2 days later. The cat threw up for 2 days straight,15 times the first day, and the vet and I thought she would die. He gave her some anti-vomit meds and she recovered. This happened in November.

My pug is 8 weeks old, and I’m considering getting some insurance for his healthcare. Pug owners: would you recommend pet insurance as far as its money saving benefits, and what insurance plan would you recommend?

I have a cat with an upper respiratory infection and I need to buy , amoxicillin, Amoxidrops® or
Clavamox® but I need it soon. I don’t want to wait a week for 1800 pet meds to deliver. Is there a store I can buy these meds? Does petsmart or petco offer these? Or is there another store that does?

I feed my cat the friskies canned cat food daily. I was wondering… I refridgerate all unused portions as the can says to do, but when you feed the unused portion, do you give it to the cat cold right from the fridge or is it safe to heat it up? I dont want to get my cat sick from anything so thanks in advance to all who answer.

My family is looking for a good house-dog that we can train easily to go outside when he has to go and won’t chew up everything. Please nothing too expensive though! (Like purebreads)

New kitten prefers my adult cat’s food over kitten food (same brand – Nutro). I’ve tried re-directing him and I’ve heard that kitten food is supposed to taste better – so why is he doing this? Will it stunt his growth if he skips the kitten food phase and jumps straight to adult?
