I am concerned that if I get a puppy that my three cats will not be friendly to it, or that the puppy will not be friendly to the cats. I want them all to play nicely and get along with each other. My thoughts were that if I got a puppy (as opposed to a full grown dog) that perhaps the cats will think it’s just another cat, or perhaps the puppy will think the cats are just other puppies? How do you integrate a puppy with cats?

I really want to adopt a kitten, but I don’t know where a good place should be. I know if you get a kitten from a shelter you’d be rescuing them, but they’re probably not spayed/neutered or declawed. So I want to know how much the cost would be comparing the prices.
