How does the sims pet expansion pack work?

Does it unlock a pet shop?
How do you create a new pet, like where do you go to start? Do you need to go somewhere or is there a button…?
Can you mix and match features?
How many pets can you have per household?
Can your pets have babies?
If you create a horse, where do you keep it?
Does it cost money to create a pet?
Answers to these questions and any other information that anybody has on the pets expansion pack would be great! Thanks!

You can download a pet shop but I don’t believe it comes with one parsay.
To create a new pet, you go to the same place you would to create a new sim.
Yes you can mix match features.
You can have 6 pets per household
Yes your pets can have babies.
You keep it on your lot.
No it does not but you can adopt a pet and sometimes that’s free sometimes it cost money.
