What could I build on or around this bird feeder to repel squirrels?

I have a platform (shelf) feeder that suctions onto my apartment window. I want to repel the squirrels that jump down from the roof onto it. What could I build onto or around the feeder or the window to stop them (without stopping birds from visiting.). I am pretty crafty so I’m willing to buy any supplies and tools to build something. Thank you.

I’ve tried everything, the only thing that work for me were feeders with a bar, when squirrels go to eat they step on bar and can’t get to food. Can get them at Home Depot etc.
The best thing to do would be to get a different feeder. Many people including myself have tried to outsmart squirrels. If you want to see examples of the ideas others have tried go to youtube and type in ~ ‘squirrel proof bird feeders’
This cage feeder is the only way I have found to allow the birds to eat and keep the tree rats out.
