What is a low mantience pet that is like a ferret?

I dont want a really low mantience pet like a hamster, but I don’t think I am prepared to buy a ferret, and it is too expensive. What is a lower maintenance pet that has the same energy and is just as smart/fun?

Hmm. I think a rat with be your best bet. They’re cheap, fun, and fairly low-maintenance. Just a bit of cage-cleaning, I guess.
Save up for a ferret, though.
.Gerbils and rats are both easier to train more fun and cost about the same.
I think a cat, because they are fairly self reliant.

A ferret is not a low maintenance pet. They require plenty of attention and care, as well as time every day outside if the cage.
FOR GODS SAKE PEOPLE THIS PERSON ISNT SAYING FERRETS ARE LOW MAINTININCE GOD DAMN!!!! THEY’RE SAYING THEY WANT A PET THATS LIKE A FERRET BUT MORE LOW MAINTININCE GEEZ. and you should get a geania pig they’re pretty fun.
