Are you allowed to wear a jacket if you work at petco?

Every time i go into petco to shop i see all the employees wearing the same thing(blue shirt, tan pants) but none is ever wearing a jacket/hoodie. Are you allowed to wear a jacket?

I guess it’s not really professional.. more casual. Also, why would you want to anyway? It can be that cold, it shouldn’t be for all of the animals.
