No worries, it should be fine to use on your dog, I often buy Johnson’s Baby Shampoo for my three dogs. Liquid Dawn dish washing soap (the blue stuff) works well too. If he really stinks you can rinse him with white vinegar and water, vinegar works well to remove odors.
No, not good for dogs. Get in the car and go buy some dog shampoo.
Using it once isn’t a big deal, but you really should use a dog or puppy shampoo with every bath. Do you have any dish detergent? That would be gentler to use rather than a human shampoo.
yea you can, but just use a little eencie weencie tiny bit
it will sud up soo much in your dogs fur that it will take like 15 minutes just to get all the soap out
Yes some shampoos are ok because they are tested on animals
but dont use a lot use a little amount little little little becuase who knows what could happen. and i recomend to buy some shampoo for your pet in the future
just dont get it in their eyes. i use pert (heuma shampoo for dandruff) on my dog and makes her fur feel sooo soo soft, its crazy.
but it wont hurt the dog to use that, and if you get it n their eyes it will hurt just as much if it gets in your eyes.
yes you can but its not really good for the dog.
but if you dont have dog shampoo you should use anything you can to take some of the smell off
Do Not use regular shampoo on your dog. Although you can use baby shampoo because it is very gentle.
Human shampoo is not going to kill your dog, but it can dry out a dog’s coat and can irritate their skin quite a bit, plus it will really burn if it gets in their eyes at all. If you have baby shampoo, that would be mild enough to use. If you absolutely must use human shampoo, don’t use much and be sure to rinse very, very, very well.
A good rinse in warm water won’t work until you can get some dog shampoo?
Human shampoos are milder than dog shampoos. Dog shampoos are designed assuming the dog will only bathe once a week or less. It is okay to use human shampoo every once in a while, but if you use it all the time, you will need to bathe the dog at least every other day. Don’t use moisturizing shampoos if he gets an oily coat.
Try using nature’s miracle on him. It gets rid of really bad odors on dogs, even skunk spray.
It’s best to use shampoo for dogs, but it won’t hurt him, unless he has some sort of skin condition. The most important thing to do is to make sure that he is rinsed off really, really good.
No, don’t use human shampoo on your dog. My vet recommends a shampoo called HyLyt by DVM. It’s soap-free and hypoallergenic.
JUST USE BAR SOAP WITHOUT PERFUME
if you have to then fine but rince really well with a hand held shower head to rid the dog of any residue. it can make them really itchy. water the shampoo down, all it has to do is suds up in order to clean and its easierr to rince out that way. use baby shampoo if you have any it would be easier on their skin. have a good quality shampoo on hand for the next time it happens
using it this one time may not hurt anything, then again it may cause all her hair to fall out or give her a really bad rash.
May want to invest in some dog shampoo & conditioner.
I use human shampoo all the time. But they recommend only occasionally w\any shampooing.
no, it will irritate their skin. baby shampoo is fine though
