Our cat box USED TO BE in a little storage room that is now being remodeled for a guest bathroom. Paris, ( my cat ) keeps going in there and doing #2…It’s disgusting to say the least. I want to know if there is anything that I can treat the bare plywood with that will make her want to go outside or down to the basement & also not hurt the wood… Help please!!??

My 7 month old cat is litter box trained but for some reason he’s not using it now. What could be some of the reasons he refuses to use his litter box. Be nice.

I have an almost 2 year old, indoor, spayed female cat. Her litter box was cleaned a couple of days ago and she’s had access to it. However, she peed on our carpet yesterday and this morning I found her sitting in our shower (which is 10 feet away from the litter box) with pee all around her. She seems fine other than this but she’s never done this before. There have been no major changes lately in her life either. Should I be worried?

I feed them good quality food and the proper amount. They also get an occasional doggie treat. I don’t know why I am constantly telling them to get out of it. It is an automatic litter box and I keep it clean. They will actually try to get in the box the poop goes into.

I have another automatic litter box that I don’t like… I saw the cat genie on tv and did a little research and found out that you have to hook it up to a waterline… Is it worth it?

My mom is a senior and getting more frail as she ages. She has two cats and two litter boxes, but she’s having more and more difficulty dumping the cat litter into a plastic bag and then getting it to the curb for garbage pick up. Liners don’t work, besides the bag would still need to be picked up and brought outside. The cat will go on the carpet before using clumping litter. I thought of elevating the box so it could be tilted to empty without having to lift the box, but the cat won’t go for it and the bag would still need to be brought outside.
Any suggestions?
