He’s perfectly comfortable sleeping on the floor, on a blanket or in his doggy bed during the day. But every night when I get in bed he puts his paws up and whines until I pick him up and put him in with me. He’s spoiled, clearly.

It seems it must be the actual pillow and whatever it is filled with. I would like to find one with a washable cover and filled with something that doesn’t smell, or smell so much.

He is on joint supplements, which have helped him greatly
I am looking in to getting him an orthopedic dog bed since he needs a new bed anyhow, and was wondering if they really help. Looking for answer from someone with experience of these beds.

I used a 1/2 cup borax and some baking soda– as well as a color safe bleach to clean them.

My question is do you think I removed the smell? To my nose, I don’t detect anything, but wasn’t sure if the dog would be able to smell and maybe pee there again in the future.

Luckily I had a matress pad on the bed, which I washed the same way to prevent the matress from getting ruined.

She’s on glucosamine and the arthritis doesn’t bother her much, but I have noticed that in the morning she’s a bit stiff until she walks around for a little.

She’s an 80 lb Lab, so I need something that will hold her weight and won’t flatten. I don’t want to spend more than 0. Do you know any websites that sell good ones? Also, how thick should it be?
