Gave my pets dewormer meds from the vet for hookworms, ect. But now their tapeworms are back, and no fleas?
Took both my kittens to the vet and they got their final shots. The vet didn’t want to overwhelm them so they gave us the yellow liquid to give to them at home. So we gave them their medicine through their food, and now I see tapeworms again. They had them before we got their front line medicine, and I put on the front line when we got back from the vet and hadn’t seen any tapeworms until yesterday. Is it harmful to use Trade winds Tape Worm Tabs for Cats, since I just gave them the yellow medicine from the vet for hookworms and such on sunday?

Hookworms and tapeworms are too different kinds of parasites.
Hook worm cannot be seen by the human eye while tapeworms leaves behind segments that look like rice.
I don’t know if the medicine your vet gave was for the hookworms will interact with the tapeworm medication so ask your vet. Maybe you should wait a week or to to let the medicine do its work.
I used Trade winds Tape Worm Tabs for Cats for my cat and it worked.
It’s best you check with their doctor. I would say no, don’t give them anything else for parasites until you consult their doc.
