How can I find pet friendly accomodation to rent in London? Most places seem to say ‘no pets’.. Any ideas?

I am looking for a house to rent in London and I have two greyhounds. It proved to be more difficult than I thought to find a pet friendly accomodation. Does anyone have any ideas of where I could start my search? Advice from pet owners who are renting would be useful. Thank you

I am having the same problem but up in Liverpool! However, every estate agent I have dealt with say that even though most landlords say "No pets", they can often be persuaded otherwise (obviously they are saying that to make things easier for themselves, not that I have a problem with that), so don’t take that as necessarily true and ask to be sure. If they can be persuaded, it might be on the condition that you get professional cleaners in when you leave, provide references for the dog or give a bigger deposit, etc. They might want to meet their dogs for themselves to make sure they’re ok.
You could also post a free add for housing on http://gumtree.com specifying that any potential landlord MUST allow pets. I found my housemates on there, it’s a great little site.
