My sister has told me that twice when she has walked her dog on the fields near where she lives, as soon as the dog was let off the leed she ran straight back to the house and waited outside until my sister got back there. Can anyone think of any reason for this?
Yes I should mention the dog is 10 years old and well trained, shes been let off the lead on walks for years and never done this.

I live in Florida, and have a 1/2 lhasa, 1/2 peek-a-poo. He’s 10 years old, and he spent the first 9 years in PA with my family, where he never had any major skin problems. But now, he seems "itchy in his own skin". I give him flea medication and treat the lawn with a pet-safe insecticide. I’ve cut out corn and wheat products from his diet. Still, not much relief. I’ve tried vets, but all they want to do is sell meds to me without diagnosing him (the steroid and cortizone shots had little or no effect). Anyone have any ideas on what might be wrong or how to help him?

i am 13 and live with 2 dogs currently. at first i was almost sure about getting a dwarf bunny , but now i’m unsure. i want one, they’re cute, and if we had one i’m pretty sure i’d take care of it but… thats a lot of responsibility and its 10 years. but… i mean there’s a lot of reasons i want one.

the bunny would basicallly kinda have its own room. i mean,,, the bunny wouldn’t be "obused" or anything crazy i’m just concerned it might be difficult some of the stuff. think its a good idea?
and i’ve spent lots of time researching them and stuff and i understand what i gotta do. and i am allowed to get one

so my dog is about 10 years old, & his doctor said that around this age he’ll start having a lot of eye problems, like he could go blind, & i decided to find him some health insurance in case he ever needs surgery for that(because i don’t want him to go blind). i was looking online but its kinda confusing, does anyone, from experience or anyone heard of any pet health insurance that covers all or most of the following:
surgery
emergency(if we have to take him to the emergency room)
vaccinations
x-rays
medicines
exams
flea treatments
worm prevention or treatments(stomach worms)

other plans i found online were extremely expensive, so let me know if you kow of any that are affordable.

I’m 10 years old, have a brother who’s 15 and I LOVE DOGS! I basically live for dogs. it’s long time tell I get a dog but I guess I just want to get ready, so can you tell me what kind of dog would fit my lifestyle?
OK well my mom works 4 days a week. She sleeps in the days (she works night shift) 9-3 but on Fri. she picks me up from school at 12. Usually on school days (besides Fri.) I get out at 3pm. I go to school at 8. My mom works on Fri. Sat., Sun., and Sometimes Mon. SO she has day-offs when I’m at school and can take care of the dog so it wont be alone. When I come I will probably look forward to walking the dog to the park (down the street) and I need a small dog because I want it to be an inside dog. I also want the dog to be friendly with humans and other dogs (MY neighborhood has lots of dogs, that i want it to be friendly with) I can supply all the food, care,and love it needs. O and I want a dog that doesn’t get sick that often. Please tell me a what kind of dog, please!
My mother wants me to get a toy poodle, I dont think that would fit my lifestyle

I currently feed my Akita mix the lite formula from Nutro. I know this isn’t the greatest food from reading the label and I want to switch. I’m not concerned about the cost of the food but it has to come from Petsmart. She is about 10 years old and 50 pounds but she should weigh about 40. Thanks in advance for your ideas or suggestions.

Trying to find a low protein Dry Dog Food. Must be Healthy and similar to Solid Gold ~ Human Grade.
My Dog is 10 Years Old and just had is annual. All his tests came back Great except is Urine test which showed Protein. The ratio the vet gave me was 0 to 3 Plus and his showed a 2 Plus. He has been on Solid Gold Dry Food for the last 8 Years. Any Help will be much help. Thanks
