I went to some grocery stores in my country (Ecuador). These are the best brands I could find. Which is better for my dog. I usually cook his meal for the afternoon, and give him commercial food at night.
PD: There were also come local brands that were cheaper than Dog Chow, but I did not even bother to look at them.
Sadly, my country has none of the brands you guys mentioned. Pretty much, the best are the ones I mentioned. Pro Pac is the one in this site http://www.propacpetfood.com/us/ . If someone could sell me recipes for a 8 year old Akita, I would be grateful.

How much would it cost to spay a year old akita dog?

I have a large 60 lb akita/shepherd mix who destroys strong wire crates to escape. She’s figured out how to undo the latches, she bends the wires and destroys the crates when we make the latches stronger. She’s currently in a pet porter which serves the purpose, but its really too small, and its one of the largest available. If you know of a company that produces strong steel crates made to endure a powerful breed, we would be much appreciative.
In answer to your questions: She gets plenty of excercise. The problem is she suffers from seperation anxiety, plus she is deathly afraid of my german shepherd. (we have been consulting with a Behavior Specialist about these matters and she is improving)

pet crate that can carry the size of German Shepherd. I am going to China (from the US) and it is not easy to find a airplane friendly pet crate in China. I have a Akita in China and planning to take her on a plane.

My akita is 10 weeks old now and just cries and cries when he is in the crate i try to make it pleasant for him whenever he is in his crate. Can anyone give me any pointers for getting him successfully crate trained.

Well, i been to animal shelters only once and i wasn’t allowed to look at the animals because i was to young.

I want to get a puppy, only a few weeks old. A puppy that is small so i can care for it from scratch.

For some reason i think dogs from the animal shelters are old dogs, what are my chances i can get a puppy?

The type i want to get is a chow chow, akita, or a lab. but i am find with whatever i have a chance to take home.
i am find with mixs dogs, just want the mix dog to have a little bit of chow chow or akita mix in hehe

I currently feed my Akita mix the lite formula from Nutro. I know this isn’t the greatest food from reading the label and I want to switch. I’m not concerned about the cost of the food but it has to come from Petsmart. She is about 10 years old and 50 pounds but she should weigh about 40. Thanks in advance for your ideas or suggestions.
