Just wondering, because of questions where a person cannot afford to take their pet to a doctor.
Are there alternative, inexpensive options, such as government sponsored animals clinics, or NGOs?
What about shots, such as rabies? Are there places where you can take your pets to be vaccinated for free? Or spayed?
Just curious.

I’m 14 and I have loved animals all my life I have currently 3 dogs, 1 cat, and 3 hermit crabs.I am interested in getting a job in pet grooming when I’m 16.Will hey hire me at 16?What should I do NOW that i could put on my resume(EX. like volunteer work at a zoo).I don’t wan to run my own business really because my grandma did that and she hated it i would probably work at a groomers shop.How much do groomers like that get paid.If someone could answer all these question i would be very thankful!
I already know how to clip nails.I don’t really know how to shave a dog because my dogs have short hair and I know how to bathe them.

I am considering starting my own business as a pet sitter. Caring for pets while people are at work, or on vacation. I don’t have any professional experience like this, but I have always had animals (mostly cats, a few dogs) and I volunteer at the local animal shelter. What experience would you expect from your pet sitter?
I would probably only do this as a part time job, but if I had enough client I would consider making in my full-time career.

Its not really the snuffles, its just a snotty nose, a sneexe and a bit of weepy eye. My bunny isnt nearly as sick as a rabbit we had that died (of that and old age), but the antibiotics we have are for large animals and im scared to give him too much of it for too long (it mixes with his water). What kinds of antibiotics can i look up for my rabbit? We’re going to a TSC to get the medicine.

We are in great need of all sorts of donations all around! We especially need donations of pet food for cats and dogs. Ive been working there a month and with the economy being so bad we are getting more animals than we adopt on average. Are there any petfood or other companies that would be willing to help out our shelter to keep these animals feed and off of the streets? Most of our income is donations and the economy has decreased the number of donations that we are recieving.

any suggestions?

We’ve taken her to the vet but she doesn’t have an infection. We think it’s behavioral because she doesn’t like the other animals in the house. I don’t want to get rid of her but I can’t stand the smell!! Natures Miracle works pretty well but it’s soooo expensive! Does anyone have any ideas?

They just added a new food that has been recalled Natural balance dry food… Im really getting tired of theses petfood recalls..My cat died from speical kitty and THis is getting outta hand..we cant trust any body anymore we should just make our own cat food..too many animals are dieing cause of this..It was there mistake that they didnt let us know..and now look?! more recalls on pet food! its stupid dont you guys think?

very good care of my animals and show them all attention but my cat just takes spells where he urinates on my chair and dog beds, I keep the litter box clean so what can i do to fix this problem?

I have read so many articles that say animals are contagious with ringworm for 3 weeks and some say months after starting treatment… So I had my kitten shaved and she has been dipped in lime sulfur dip 3 times. She has also been bathed with a ketoconazole shampoo recently. It has been about three weeks since she was diagnosed and received the first dip. I need a kitty sitter for the weekend and want to make sure she will be okay around other cats!
