How can i fix my bird cage door? My bird cage has one of those slide-up doors but it is too small for my keet(appr. 4"x3") to comfortably fit through. How can i make it into a door that opens sideways?(like a regular humaN door) sauder, wire cutters? Help

i have 8 parakeet and 2 cockatiel and been in there for 3 months now and i am thinking of making it even MORE wild for them but what stuff do i need to make it look wild? and they are in a VERY BIRD CAGE its about 17ft long,13ftw,and 9ft high.

im planning to build my own bird cage but im not sure what wood to use for the frame. i am probably going to get a budgie of cockatiel and i was planning to use pine timber but i heard it was toxic.
any other ideas would be great

im not going to put one in im just curious,i know a cwd cage should be a min. of a large fridge, but is it possible to house one inside a bird cage that fits?
