My mom was telling me how she wants to throw out some of our dog’s worn out beds since we bought her new ones. I suggested that we donate them to an animal shelter. I can sew, so I can patch up any holes and I can also add more cotton stuffing into them. They are faded, but I don’t think the dogs will care as long as they are comfortable. I think especially now, the shelters could use all the free supplies they can get. My mom thinks it’s a good idea.

Do you think the shelter would take them?

Also, my dog is a very large dog (she’s about 100-110 pounds) so her beds can fit any size of dog.
They are clean and in good condition, I may need to patch up a few holes but I haven’t looked at them too closely. I’m also donating some brand new blankets and canned dog food to the shelter that I bought.
I’m sure they could be sterilized, just wash them in hot water with some soap. My dog has never been sick.

HI! I need your help. I got a pet Papillon… And i dont know whether she should sleep in a Small Dog Crate (Small so its her size) with blankets or those Fancy Pet Beds….. What should I get???

I have a small ringworm ring on the upper part of my outer thigh.
So it’s kind of hard to wear pants. Since I’ve had it, I’ve been sleeping in blankets that we keep in the living room, I’ve washed all the pants I’ve worn, but how do I keep it from being contagious?

my kitten already has a small scratching post, but he’s kind of outgrown it, he towers over the top when he’s stretched out, and also id like to get another for the bedroom so he stops tearing up the bottom of our blankets…What is a nice, "fun", inexpensive post for kittens??

How do I stop my dog from doing this? Sometimes she will even go in the crate to urinate when she is not in it, as if it is a bathroom. Wierd.
I clean the crate daily. Change the blankets and everything. I never used puppy pads because she would eat them. That is the only place she goes since she has been house trainned. She is only in the crate for 3 hours a day for 3 days a week.

My rabbit, Cosmo, lives inside of a nice wood hutch and matching bunny run (3′ x 3′ x 3′) and to top it all off, it’s inside of my room. so he’s always disinfected (his tile floor and blankets) and has great temps to relax and play in. But he always chews the wood! I can’t stand the sounds when I’m sleeping, so I sometimes go out into the livingroom or hold him for an hour or so while we both fall asleep. Bitter Apple seems to work, but it doesn’t last long enough. As some of you know, it’s not cheap. Is there anything else that’s safe to make him stop chewing (for more than a day) thank you!
He has a mineral salt wheel, with 2 carrot chew sticks, a big green one, 3 other smaller chew sticks, a tube (a contractor’s cemet tube) and a little "shred box" with goodies inside. he also eats a lot… (he’s a growing boy- 17 week old flemish giant) maybe he’s doing it for attention?? But i need to break the habbit.

I got a male bunny a few weeks ago, and the first day I saw him mating with her… She is a himalyan bunny. Any signs I should be looking for in her breed? Recently she has been digging in a pile of blankets I have in the corner of my room and that is very abnormal for her. She has not been pulling out hair that I can tell…but I don’t know what other signs to be looking for. She has a cage to go into if she wants to but she only goes in there at bed time when she wants to.

I have a 2 year old siamese mix, and she used to never pee anywhere other than where she was supposed to. Last year I took in a stray that I found – and he peed all over our couch. After that she began peeing as well. We don’t have the other cat, but she still does it! Usually she likes to pee in piles of clothes, blankets, etc – and it doesn’t matter if her litterbox is clean! It’s getting to the point if I forget to put something in the laundry bin, she will pee on it. I don’t know what to do – I have tried neutralizing sprays, changing her litter – we got an extra litter box. We have 2 HUGE litter boxes to 3 cats.

I have a 1yr old husky, I just put her in basement at night only- to sleep. during the day(while I am at work during the day) she is outside, but when it rains she won’t go in the new dog house we built for her. I did put her food towards the back(she goes in to eat but comes back out), have blankets and toys in there. but when it rains she stays on the backstairs instead. how to get her to use the dog house when it rains? have tried for 2 months now to get her to use dog house. what else can be done?
