My little dog often tinkles on the carpet, and it has become a problem after some time with the smell in our house. We have carpet in our living room and that’s where it has happened. I have heard a lot of different things on how to get rid of pet odors. I am looking for a good at home solution, using products I may already have to get rid of the urine smell. Any suggestions?

We have a pet gate, about 2 feet tall, but our dog can jump over it when we are gone, and he goes in the living room, messes on the carpet, etc… We put him outside before leaving, he just gets mad at us for leaving him alone… Anyway, he learned to jump over the gate and I don’t want a shock collar! So, I was wondering, if there’s a really tall "pet gate", about 4 feet tall ( I’m sure that’ll do)

I would like an old house wives remedy to get rid of dog urine/smell from carpet and furniture. My daughter is selling her house and she has had two LARGE stupid dogs in the house for three years and it stinks! Any ideas??? HELP!!!

We have four dogs, some or all of whom pee in the house when we’re not looking. They’re smart enough to know that it’s wrong, so they sneak around to do so. How do we catch them? It’s gotten to the point we may have to find new homes for them. Our carpet is a disaster.

Short of ripping up my carpet, how do I get extremly strong dog urine out of my carpet? I have shampooed it twice and used some vinegar on it. Any other suggestions?

Well I have a 6yr. old basset hound who has been peeing on the carpet lately. We live in an apartment so we don’t have a back yard just a good sized patio(well good sized for an apartment its kinda big) we started to put him on there but ran into 2 problems 1.) We found a scorpion in the bathroom so don’t want him outside at night 2.) He doesn’t sleep he just sits at the door all night long. So were thinking about crate training him but he is really scared of everything so we don’t want to scare him to death by putting him in crate( trust me he will be scared he is deathly afraid of laundry baskets he will do anything to get away from them) Well any advise would be nice thank you in advance
Forgot to add I’m home all day long with him.
Well he is use to sleeping with either my fiance or his dog family. But he had to get rid of the other dogs cause he had to move(long story). And we usually let him sleep in the bed with us but he’s been getting up and peeing on the floor during the night. He will pee out side the only time he pees on the carpet is at night when were asleep

Its really annoying!
They scratch the wallpaper, the furniture, the door frames, the shed, they dig the carpet.
How can I get them to stop!

My friend’s dog had puppies this past Spring. The dog had four puppies. They keep the mother and one of the pups. The dogs were not properly potty trained. Now the carpet in the house smells like dog urine. They say they can not get the smell out, There was a old lady that lived there before they were there. I stopped going over there for that reason.

What is the best way to get dog urine smell out of a carpet? I have cleaned it with a carpet cleaner many times and it still smells really bad. Does anyone know of any homemade things that will take it out?

I adopted a dog a few months ago. I noticed a few days after we got him, a really bad urine smell on an area of carpet. I noticed it too late though because it was already dried up. I have tried, carpet cleaner and febreeze but it still stinks two months later! How can I make it go away?
