I have 4 cats, they have been eating Alley Cat dry cat food. I tried looking on the internet for which cat foods are safe, but it’s so confusing. Does anyone know if Alley Cat is safe, or not?

Ok, so I’m totally confused about quality cat foods. Can someone please just list the top 10 dry cat foods out there? And please don’t bother listing anything like Purina, Meow Mix, Friskies, Science Diet, etc. as I already know they are filled with way too many by-products, corn, carbohydrates, etc. Please just give me the premium brands as I don’t mind spending a little more for quality food. Ok a month ago, I asked a question about cat food, and people said "dont feed friskies,fancy feast,whiskas,science diet,perscription diet,meow mix,ol roy,purina one, etc etc because it’s junk and blah blah" Isn’t that pretty much all the cat foods avalaible you named. what the heck is there left for your cat to eat if pretty much all cat foods are bad?
and people are even saying iams is bad! and euckanuba too

I have 2 cats, one of them eats the prescription cat food that I mentioned and my other cat eats a mixture of the other 2 cat foods that I mentioned. Both of my cats still seem to be healthy, but I figured that I’d be safe than sorry, by asking about this on here.

He was against the idea of better quality cat foods from the start! We originally had the cat on cans of Wellness trout and salmon and wellness CORE. He kept saying it was too expensive and it is totally pointless and the cat doesn’t care what she gets.. One day my boyfriend was so fed up with with this so called "nonsense" when Tigger was out of food I asked if my BF could go get him a few cans of Wellness for her. Since I was picking my little nephew up from preschool. Instead he bought a big bag of purina cat chow and 6 cans of friskies. He opened the bag so I wouldn’t be able to take it back and he gave the cat cat chow and friskies. And he said to Tigger as he looked at me "See Tigger" no need for the fancy smancy cat food. I bet this stuff is no different! I’m so mad at him! How can I help guide him in the right direction!
Oh and when I rushed to the bowl and snatched it away from Tigger my BF laughed at him and texted his friends about it. But purina is such a crappy food! it has fillers and dead,dying,and,diseased animal meat that had been rejected for human consumption. It is over all a disgusting food. I read the book "the food pets die for" and now I vowed to never feed those products again.
I gave him MY money to buy cat food so i’m not sure what he is so bothered about.

I have two cats and I want to feed the best to them. I am currently feeding my two cats Whiskas. I heard it is very good food.

My cat is 5 months now and at first, she would finish her food for everytime I fed her. I know since she is getting older, I would have to feed her more. However, for the last two weeks, she wouldn’t even finish her food. Perhaps that’s a sign to give her something different but if it is, what’s the best brand for cat foods? I’ve been feeding her Whiskas, Friskies (canned foods) and Purina (dry foods) since I got her.

i switched from the grocery brand too this…..and i bought a lot of it, and now im reading that people say it sucks…..what the fuck haha i just adopted a cat and its been throwing up a lot…..probabaly cause ive been switchin the food cause too many of you people hate on too many cat foods…
