I’ve been using Fresh Step Clay liter but Costco where I usually buy cat litter does not sell it any more and it sells Scoop away instead. I think Scoop Away smells too strong so I’ve decided to mix my leftover Fresh Step with Scoop away. It seems to be working fine, but I wonder if there is any problem with mixing. Thanks!

i just got 2 cats that have Cerebral Hypoplasia and they tend to frolic in the litter (mostly because its hard for them to get out of the box). i was wondering
A. what is the best kind of cat litter that wont smell and be bad for the cats
B. what is be best kind of box that needs to be big the sides (so the little wont spray out when they frolic) yet shallow in the front so they can get in easy.

Im a new to cats & cat litter but I suddenly have 3 cats who seems to put out more waste than me, a 210 pound man.
I have been using Aldi Brand scoop able cat litter and its been ok, but the only thing I have to compare it to is dollar store clay that doesn’t scoop.
Aldi Brand is .69 for 14 pounds =.2636 cents per pound.
I saw Sam’s has a 42 pound package of Fresh step scoopable for roughly 33.5 cents a pound. (I forget the exact price)
So, my question, to those who have used both, is Fresh Step worth a 27% premium to the Aldi store brand ?
Again, Both are scoopable.

i live in an apartment where i rent a room. the cat is allowed to roam freely but due to my landlords having a 1 year old, the litter box stays in my room. i clean it as i should but theres still the lingering odor of cat litter in my room and id like it gone. i use the litter made for small spaces along with the baking soda deodorizer you sprinkle in the box. any help?

She has cat litters in her paws after she comes out from her litter box. So when she comes out, cat litter is everywhere on the floor. I have been putting like a plastic floor mat and a silicone mat in front of her littler box hoping that it will catch some pebbles out. IS there a better way?

I have a 6 week old kitten and she turns her nose up to any kind of food but moms milk. She sniffs it and trys to bury it like it’s cat litter. I had a litter before her and both kittens did the same..They were 7 to 8 weeks old before they would touch solid food and I had to mix solid with can (cat food) gravy. I have a home for this lil girl and the new owners are ready for her but I dont want to send her to her new home with her not eating dry food. What can I do?

All 4 of my hamsters are potty trained, which means that a 16oz box of hamster potty litter lasts about 2 weeks. Is there any other alternative I can use that will come in a bigger container? What about non-clumping, unscented cat litter? Any suggestions?

I know you’re supposed to scoop it out daily, but then how often do you empty it of cat litter and refill it with fresh litter? How often do you wash the box itself?

Every time I clean their cage I have to scrub a LOT to get the pee stains off the bottom of the cage. Would cat litter work? Or would it hurt them? I have Esquisicat Cat Litter that I need to use up, so…. ?
