Yeah, I don’t buy toys anymore because she would much rather play with a balled up piece of paper. Her absolute favorite is a balled up toquito rapper from Circle K.

So As a normal person I thought cat nip was like Kitty Crack. And just made them all happy and excited. (and could also be used as tea in humans)

One of my friends is desperate and asked me to feed his cat a few times a week while he is out of town. Since I have a severe cat allergy, I can’t play with the cat at all. I purchased some cat nip at the recommendation of a friend. I’m just unsure of how to give it to the cat.

Its a young seedling, only about 2-3 weeks in age with only 2 pairs of leaves with its 3rd starting to show. but earlier today i noticed an odd purple color coming up from the stem an onto the leaves. i have a bunch of other cat nip plants around it but only a few seem to have the purple color.
and yes.. its CATNIP

Im trying to find something to really make my chicken stick out. Catnip tends to drive the cats crazy. Maybe it will have the same affect when combined with my chicken?

My friend came over one day with a little trial size bag of cat nip. He gave it to me and said to feed it to my cat. I did that and she started rubbing up against our legs and clawing at our jeans. He said cat nip has the same effect on cats as ecstasy does to humans…

I have tried catnip and catnip spray, they don’t seem to really like it. I have heard that young cats (mine are 6 months) don’t have much interest in catnip. Does anyone have any other ideas what i can put on my scratching posts to get my cats to use them? I have one stand up and one cardboard on the ground one.
Yeah, cat nip is a no go, I have very strange cats lol. I will try rubbing greenies on the posts, its their favorite treat, they go nuts for them.

I have a scratching post but he doesn’t seem to really like it, I have tried taking him over there and showing him how to use it. He used it one day and I rewarded him with a treat but hasn’t used it since…
He has been starting to scratch at the furniture. Declawing is not an option either. I’m gonna try the cat nip.
he is only 8 weeks so he doesn’t respond to the cat nip yet…
