My cat goes crazy for catnip and I was thinking that putting some into home made candle wax might be an interesting alternative to stuffed cat toys. Would my cat get hyper from the aroma burning around the house?

Should I put him in rehab or find a 12 step program for him? He has a room full of cat toys as a result of his dealing in catnip.

What happens after you adopted it? Did you ever hear from the shelter again? Did you ever go back to the same one and adopt a second animal? How involved was the staff there?

The reason I ask is because I adopted a cat from the shelter a few weeks ago, and yesterday, one of the people that worked there showed up at my house to check on him. And they brought him some food and cat toys, and they brought me some coupons and stuff for more cat food and cat litter and stuff. And she brought some dog biscuits because she knew I had a dog too. That was very nice of her, and I wasn’t even expecting it.

Do they all do that or is this just a really good shelter?

I have 2 rabbits and work for a pet supply company but we only have dog and cat toys. Anyone know of any toys i can used for rabbits that are actually for cats or dogs?
Also If You Have Suggestions How Hard Or Soft Should The Toys Be?

I just bought the catnip spray a few days ago along with cat toys. When i reached home, i sprayed the catnip on the cat toys. But my kitten isn’t interested at all at the toys. What is wrong?
