What kind of dog food do you feed your adult lab/ large breed dog? My lab is coming on 12 months, and Im thinking of transitioning him over to adult food, and need help picking one…thanks in advance

9 week old chihuahua wont eat purina puppy chow, and we’ve tried a soft food from a can (got it at petsmart). Our dog will eat hot dogs, bologna, and steak but wont touch his dog food. BTW we have given him human food only after several days of his refusing to eat dog food. Any advice?
Everyone is telling me to get ‘science diet’ for my dogs, but is kinda more expensive I want to know if is really as good or if it makes a big difference compared to other dog food brands-
If it’s not – I would like some recommendations/suggestions.
I bought Nutro Natural Choice Lite dog food, which is listed on the Petsmart, and various other, websites to have a crude protein of 14%(min,) yet on the package it says the protein is 17%(min).
Anyone know why this is and what the actual protein content is?

My dog is about 4-6 months old and he has been eating little doggy nibbles. They are the crunchy treats. That was the only thing we fed him. Should I switch his meal for actual creamy chicken dog food that comes in cans?

He’s very thin and his ribs show through his chest. Should I switch his crunchy hard food for the soft real dog food? Or is he too young for them?

We have been feeding my dog Blue Buffalo dog food for a while now. It is a newer dog food that is very rich in omega fatty acids (look it up for all the details). It is a great dog food. My dog is a shedder and the food helps. but… it is very expensive. We can no longer spend 12.99 on a 5lb. bag of dog food now that we have two dogs. We will be going away on vacation in a week or two and where we are boarding them, they will be fed Nutro. Is it a good healthy dog food? What is a comprable brand that is good for shedding dogs and that isn’t as expensive as Blue Buffalo but is still very healthy?
can i feed my 2 month old german shepherd puppy raw meaty bones and regular puppy/dog food? or does it have to be either one?
