Our dog will eat hot dogs, bologna, and steak but wont touch his dog food. BTW we have given him human food only after several days of his refusing to eat dog food. Any advice?

Anyone know why this is and what the actual protein content is?

He’s very thin and his ribs show through his chest. Should I switch his crunchy hard food for the soft real dog food? Or is he too young for them?

It is a newer dog food that is very rich in omega fatty acids (look it up for all the details). It is a great dog food. My dog is a shedder and the food helps. but… it is very expensive. We can no longer spend 12.99 on a 5lb. bag of dog food now that we have two dogs. We will be going away on vacation in a week or two and where we are boarding them, they will be fed Nutro. Is it a good healthy dog food? What is a comprable brand that is good for shedding dogs and that isn’t as expensive as Blue Buffalo but is still very healthy?
