Hello again,

Going back to my two min-pin puppies, they are 9 weeks old now and am still feeding them puppy food (wet kind). At what point can I feed them dry food? What is the best brand to buy?

I know that dry food is supposed to keep there teeth strong, but is there something in wet food that they also need. I have heard that dry food can cause dehydration in cats, Is this also true about dogs. My dog also belches a lot. Does anyone know of something that can help him with this. It is usually after he gets excited and drinks a lot of water. I haven’t had a dog in many years and I am just wanting what is best for my new friend. He is truly a woman’s best friend. I recently got a dachshund but i’m wondering if i’m missing something. Ive been feeding him the same food:
– red meats
– white meats
– dry food
– bones
– occasional treats like bones or dog treats
It is red meat that was canned. Well, I call it that because it looks like that…kinda… Rarely, ill give him a little piece of white chicken, with no spices, because i read that it is a good treat and is healthy.

I have a Dachshund, a Yorkshire Terrier, and a Black Lab mix. I was wondering if it’s okay to feed my dog’s Dry food in the morning around 8-9 am and then feed them wet around 3-4 pm or is that too much or too little. Also, I feed my Dachshund wet food for puppies since he is only 4 months old, do I have to feed him a dry food for puppies or is it okay to give him some thats for adults?

I’m scared to let my little guy play with them yet! He’s really young, still being bottle fed and starting to eat a little dry food when i moisten it in warm water. Will catnip affect his growth or personality if he gets exposed to it? thank you so much I appreciate any info on catnip.

can you feed your ferrets dry dog food ? i always feed them rabbit or day old chicks in the morning but i also fill there bowl with dry food so i ran out of ferret dry food so i put some pedigree dry dog food in and it works out cheaper so csn i feed them this often ?
will they be ok this once ? Because they have already eaten it or i would take it out
also people i dont always feed my ferrets dog foodit was just today so they had something in there bowl after there chickens.

I have a 10 year old pomeranian. Ive tried mixing his dry food with wet food, but he only eats the wet food. He also doesn’t eat his treats anymore. I switched him to chewy treats and he eats them. Is he not eating his dry food because it’s too hard for his teeth?

My Chihuahua is almost One and A half years old. He eats only dry food. I used to feed him mixed, a half a can of wet with some dry. I’m thinking about doing it again because I know he’d love it. What are the benefits of wet food? All’s I’ve ever heard is that it causes bad breath and dirty teeth. Is that true?
