I bought a medium sized female rabbit from a pet store and a week later, my boyfriend bought another dwarf one. Most of the time they lived at our separate places but for a week while we were on vacation, they lived in the same hutch. A couple weeks later…SURPRISE!!!!!!!! my boyfriends bunny is NOT in fact a female…we decided to try to breed them but my doe would simply not accept the buck. He mounted her several times and after a few seconds, my doe would run away. Does this mean she’s already pregnant??? Could that have happened the week they were together? By the way, she is about 7 months old and we think he is the same age.

I just purchased a Hamster cage by Super Pet along with a fancy dwarf hamster tonight. I am unsure how to set up the water bottle which came with it since it does not have the instructions and I am a first time hamster owner. How do you attach the water bottle which came with it to the cage? Please help.

Ok, so just bought a new bunny, female, 10 weeks old. When i went to see her at the breeders she was being housed with at least 3 males, I don’t know the age. They were not her siblings and they were lionhead breed. My bunny is a lionhead, dwarf mix. Now at home she is always laying down on her side, and doesnt rlly like to be held. She also has a roundish stomach. Is there a chance shes pregnant?

I am getting a hamster in a couple of days and i was wondering if i should get a dwarf or a teddy bear hamster? many people say they bite but dwarf hamsters are cheaper and easier to take care of… and Teddy bear hamsters are adorable friendly but more hard to take care of and train is this true?… what one?

So, if I hold my teddy bear hamster and then hold my dwarf, will the dwarf be able to smell the teddy bear? And vise versa. Also, if they can smell each other, is that bad? Will they bite my hand because of it? Thanks!

I have fallen in love with a dwarf albino hamster at the pet store, but don’t want to cheapen the style of my house by keeping one of those multi-colored (or bright colored) habitrails around.

I also don’t want just a glass aquarium because I want it to be interactive. I like the functionality of the habitrail, I just don’t like the colors.

…. I haven’t bought the hamster yet.

Anyone have ideas?

I have had them since fall Muffin (short haired) A doll sweetest hamster ever we upgraded her cage a little to a bird cage it work and Gave Sassy muffin old cage But shes a doll she only wakes up at night so ill take her out 2-3 times a night Thanks♥ For the Help! U Guys rock!
