My son’s dwarf hamster has 5 baby hamsters that are 9 days old. The male hamster died 2 days before the babies were born. We want to move them to a bigger cage. When can we do this?
I want to move the baby hamsters and the mom to a bigger cage for them.

I have a dwarf right now and he can’t climb the vertical tubes so they’re all horizontal. So i was wondering what the best hamster is for climbing vertical tubes?

I saw online to see what the average litter size for dwarf hamsters was and it said 3.2 on like 3 websites. Our hamster had a litter of 7, and then a litter of nine. Is 3.2 correct? On two other websites I saw 7-10 or something like that, but I am not sure. I just want to make sure what I say is right because it is for a 4H project.
Thanks for your time!

After I separate the males baby hamsters from the females can the females live with their mother? Btw, space wouldn’t be a problem, they’re going to be in a 250 gallon long fish tank.
I think it’s a robo or campbell’s dwarf. Are they still able to live together?

I have a three-story hamster cage that connects its floors through tubes, but my dwarf robo hamster doesn’t seem to understand that she can climb up there. I tried to put her up on the second level, but all she did was jump off. I’m afraid to try again in case she hurts herself. How do I get her to go up the tubes?
