I have two male rats, who are around the ages of 2 1/2 years and 1 1/2 years. I am going away to college in about a month and I, sadly, cannot take my precious babies.

I currently have them housed in a "My First Home Deluxe Multi-Level Large".

The measurements are

I am helping out at a pet store that is closing (I work at one of them, but at a different location) and they have a ferret nation 142 for 50% off, and I can get an employee discount and a discount for turning in my current cage, which was worth about 75$ when I bought it.

Well, my parents won’t be able to let my two males roam as much while I’m away, and I was wondering if it is worth it to get a bigger cage. Also, the cage I have now is extremely light and easy to clean. I know the Ferret Nation is very heavy, I want to know how easy it is to clean. I use blankets as bedding.
I don’t want my parents to have to lift heavy things/unassemble with tools to have to give the cage a weekly cleaning.
What I’m trying to ask if the cage I have now better for my parents or would the Ferret Nation be easier (and make my rats happier)

My dad would probably just pour vinegar on the cage and hose it off to clean it.
And I was wondering if the ferret nation 142′s second level comes off without much of a struggle.

Ok let me start, back in February my sister came in and bought some items. Without telling me she switched tags (with clarence tags) on some candles and a "as seen on tv" product. when it came time to check her out, she pulled the tags off the shelf and put them on the product, so i price modify the items to the price on the tags, i looked at the tags and they said something about candles and a pet groomer (it was the pet zoomer thing) so i thought it was ok, and i gave her the employee discount. Three months later the LP guy came and fired me and made me sign a paper (which i wish i would never signed) saying that there going to put my name on a database and made me pay the .00 that i "Stole". I’ve been trying to get a job everywhere and nobody will hire me due to walgreens putting the keyword "shoplifter" on my background…so can someone help me on what i should do?

I usually head to the pet stores a day or two before Christmas. Last year I ended up snowed in and my pets had to settle for toys I could walk over and buy at the local Safeway.

This year I’ve been doing holiday photoshoots at several local pet stores and since they gave me an employee discount I picked up the "Fling-a-ma-string" for my cats at 40% off. My dog got a large plush gingerbread man squeaky that makes that strange deep moose-in-heat kinda sound LOL

I’m still gonna head out one day this week for gifts for my ferrets and stocking stuffers. Makes me feel like I have "kids" – though not the annoying skin ones LOL And yes – the stockings are all hung by the chimney with care http://good-times.webshots.com/photo/2301740950046652437AEukwH
A litterbox, John? I’m sure it’s nice but that’s like giving someone a toilet for Christmas LOL The woodstove’s nice but my house needs some serious insulation. Very old and VERY drafty!

My boss’ daughter is turning 18 and going away to college. I’ve decided that since she’s been so good to my family I’d like to get her some gifts. Please keep in mind that she’s such a sweet girl. She’s helped me take care of my daughter, my pets and myself. Also keep in mind that my friend works at Juicy Couture and she’s extended her employee discount to me, so these presents are still pricey but they cost a lot less.

Are these gifts suitable for an 18yr old who’s going away to college?
Yes, I know her sizes and her style. I’ve asked her if there’s something she’d like and she said that she’s already set on school stuff and that I don’t have to get her anything, but seeing as that’s her favorite store and I get a discount…
And please try not to be rude!
And just so you know, with my discount this will cost about 0 dollars opposted to OVER 0.
*opposed. Sorry for my typo.
