I just put fresh water in my aquarium and I want to make sure its safe to put the fish back in .
I took out 1/3 of the water and replaced it with water out of the sink .

I just got my crown tailed betta fish yesterday. He is in a 1 gallon tank. I’ve been feeding him betta bites, but he won’t eat them. He loves to swim around, but when I come close, it’s almost as if he is playing dead, he just sits there cowering away.
How can I make him eat and like me more?
Any tips?

Its pretty hot outside but the air conditioner is on and the aquarium heaters are off. i have 2 really small five and six gallon aquariums that are around 82 degrees but my 30 gallon is at 78 degrees. i have fish in both small aquariums, should i be worried, and how can i lower the temperature?
I have one tetra in a 5 gallon and two glofish in a 6 gallon and a four and a half inch cihclid in the 30 gallon

Hey Everyone!!

I’m level 37 fishing and i know that at level 40 you can start fishing for lobsters. However, people have told me not to start catching lobsters immediately at level 40 because they will go too slow.

So my question is, at what fishing level should i start catching lobsters so that they go pretty fast?

Also, what should i fish for to get to that level?

I don’t have the fish yet but I am getting one and would like to know if it will be a boy or girl. Again it’s Betta species. Also, if you know there is a specific type of bowl or such that fish are best to put in please tell me!

I am looking into buying a new fishing rod and the two options are either a 5’10" rod or a longer 6’6" rod, i usually just fish the detroit river and i do many different styles from casting to trolling to jigging and pretty much anything that’s working. but i would like to know what the advantages of getting the shorter rod would be and what the advantages of getting the longer rod would be, also please let me know any disadvantages either might have, they are the same brand same price same everything except for the length, both are even medium action. Thank you for helping me with this.
