I know there is a dehydration issue with feeding a dry food diet. I don’t want to feed canned food. There are some good dry food brands out there- aren’t there? So what if I added a little water to it? I already tried adding a little water and my cat will eat it fine.
He eats it usually as soon as I give it to him. I wash his bowl out everyday as well. I keep an eye on it to see how long it sits for.

One of my friends insists that Purina and Nutro pet food brands are somehow related to IAMS and Eukanuba, but i thought he was wrong, so I looked it up. I found that Purina manufactures their own foods, but I found nothing about Nutro. Does anyone know anything about that?

Thanks guys, but let me mind you i am asking which is better, i am not asking for recommendations or if both suck. These two brands are the best where i live & i am not willing to buy pedigree, iams, beneful, ekanuba etc because there crap and vet tech or not they are worse then Nutro or Kirkland. Cause we all know vets are paid buy the crappy food brands to promote those crappy dog foods.
