I have an aquaclear hang on the back filter for my 70 gallon tank, When I clean the filter do I put a new sponge on or just squish and clean the old sponge in a bucket of tank water? What about the white stones in the filter? Here’s a picture of the white stones on top of black bag. http://www.affordableaquariums.biz/Aquaclear.JPG
I have 2 sponge’s instead of a carbon bag is that ok?

I have a large picture that i would like to put on my aquarium. I want it to be flat against glass but dont want to put something on it that will ruin it, or change color.
ok people I know to put on the outside of the tank on the back. I wish to know HOW to attach it to the glass without ruining the picture and have it flat against the glass so the picture shows better.
The photo is 18 1/2 by 48 inches is for a 55 gallon tank.

I have a water heater, a uv bulb, a heat lamp and dock, 2 filters and an under water log. This is all in a 25 gallon tank but am going to get a 100 gallon tank soon!
So what is better yellow bellied slider or map turtle.

Why my aquarium plants are not pearling lots ofCO2 lots of light?
Can anyone help! 55 gallon tank, 460 watts proper kelvin. co2 reactor with powerhead. plantabs fertilizer and others. plants still don’t produce O2 bubbles. I mean when o2 comes out of plants and rises to the surface.

I have a 46 gallon tank with a 36 inch flourescant light. When I first got it, the light would flicker and go off after about a half hour. I exchanged the light (tube and fixture) for an identical one. It does the same thing… Why does it do this and how can i fix it?
