My two cats started peeing on the edge of one of our rugs. We have since gotten rid of the cats, and I took the rug outside, to let it air out a bit. It rained unexpectedly, and the rug got wet. I brought it into my outside hallway, and it reeks of cat pee. Is there any way I can get the smell out? It’s so gross! And I love this rug.
We have 2 cats and one dog a welsh corgi at my house. The cats have been sharing the upstairs litter box, and now the dog has decided that he should use it too. He’s too big (even for being a small dog) to fit into the litter box, so he pees beside it, and poops nearby in the hallway. Any suggestions on how to stop this?
We live in an apartment and the only place we can find to put the litter box is in the spare bathroom next to the toilet. The only problem is that the entire bathroom smells like the cat box. We keep it clean (clean it out everyday) but it still smells up the entire bathroom and some in the hallway. The litter box we use is very basic. Any suggestions?
i have three cats one is a kitten .they all eat dry cat food but the kitten has some stinky poop ,i mean he funks up the whole hallway and i use fresh step cat litter and change the box daily but i am wondering what can be making him release such funk the other cats don’t funk the whole place up like this little fellow lol
I recently got a coupon for steam carpet cleaning (deep clean) for for 3 rooms. Well, when I got the quote and told the lady everything that I wanted done and asked for the exact price she said 0 even. I agreed and set the date.
Well, when the men came and started saying their prices, I said that I had a coupon. They saw my dogs, which aren’t house dogs, and really pushed me into getting a sanitizer and pet enzyme. Which was a buttload of money. They put a guilt trip on me and said it would be better for my baby to have disinfected carpets. Wouldn’t the steam have killed all the bacteria anyways?
When they finally added up everything it came out to 0, which I promptly declined. It was way over my budget and was no was feeling a bit taken advantage of. I had called my husband right away and they dropped the price to 0. It was still over my budget and he clearly looked annoyed by my stubbornness.
After trying to cut rooms , he was only willing to drop the price more dollars. So, it seemed that for more I could get everything done so I took the bait.
I felt bullied and frustrated that I was forking over almost 0 when I had a coupon for a 3 room deep cleaning. Now, I have to pay with all these additionals and the living room counted as 2 rooms plus the hallway.
I thought I would feel better once the carpet was cleaned.
Well, that was just another slap, I had to tell them to go over the hallway again because you could still see the dark trail. There are still spots in my room and the living room. The carpet left a foul odor even when I payed extra for that not to happen. For 0, I expect the carpet to be spotless!!!
I feel ill, I will most likely invest in a steam machine and do it myself.
For your information pick, I did pay after everything was said and done. I didn’t at first agree to the extras.. I just assumed that deep cleaning meant I was getting my carpets cleaned
thoroughly.
I am trying to keep my two kittens contained to portion of the house, however everything I have tried has not worked. I have installed a folding door with two locks and they have broken through that. I have put up a large piece of plywood to cover the door opening and they manage to jump over it or push through the cracks. I am trying to find the most inexpensive way to create an easy way to block cats out of a room through a door/hallway opening, but have it have easy access to enter through.
We gave our kitten catnip a few weeks ago and he’s been playing with his catnip toy everyday. He all of a sudden has been peeing and pooping on our bed, and we aren’t sure why. Could it be the catnip? He also pooped in our hallway and in our bathroom.
I have two cats. One 7 years old and the other is 10 weeks old. I leave dry food out for both of them all day and I keep the kitten’s food in my room and the adult cat’s food out in the hallway.
The kitten sleeps in my room at night and it seems that whenever I bring him out to play in the day time, he likes to run to the adult cat’s food. (Vice Versa with the elder cat.)
How do I keep them from eating each others food?
My cat recently got into the habit of scratching the leather loveseats around the house and now you can see the scratch marks (kinda ruined them). Now my mom won’t let her out around the house, and is now confined to the upstairs part of the house (my room and my sister’s with a small hallway and a baby gate blocking the stairs). I feel bad doing that to her so i want to know how I can stop her from doing it. She has a scratch post but never uses it. What can I do?
My husband put it in empty cat litter bins minus solid waste but now it sits, for a month, in my hallway. do you think my city hall/garbage hauler would know what to do? thanks for help.
