Could a carbon aquarium filter interfere with the dechlorinator if I’d empty the tank, fill it with tap water, pour the "works in seconds" dechlorinator, and after 5 or 10 minutes turn on the filter? Would that prevent the dechlorinator from doing its job?

I’m taking a job at pet grooming, I wish to know how to COMPLETELY rid of the pet hair AND BUGS I may encounter after entering the vehicle to go home.

I’ve thought about wearing a swimsuit under my clothes at work, washing off my arms, and before entering my car I would take off my clothes to wear my swimsuit and throw my clothes into a zipped up bag into the trunk of the car (would that keep bugs from escaping)? Would DEET work for all bugs or just ticks? Should I use that? Is there a better solution? Would be maybe a way to wash off before entering the car to go home? I’ve thought outside public pools if any are in walking distance, but doesn’t seem that simple of a plan.

I’ve also thought about washing myself in a public restroom, but that doesn’t seem like it’d do a great job.

Note: The answer is not ‘dont get the job’ (^_^)

I’m looking into enrolling at Penn Foster Career School to get my Pet Grooming Certificate. It is an online school. I was just wondering what I could do with a certificate like this if I got one. Also, I would like to know your experience and how you felt about the program if you were enrolled there. For example, could I get a job with someone or eventually start my own business with that certification? Any information or advice would help! Thanks!

i’m gonna be working some night shifts 2-3 days a week but not in a row (my job changed my schedule). she is crate trained and house broken but i don’t want to leave her alone all night.
i was wondering if its better to hire a pet sitter to stay overnight with my 8 month old puppy or take her to the pet smart hotel. Does anyone have any experience with either?

Did anyone attend the PA Academy of Dog Grooming in Indiana, Pennsylvania? I was interested in attending the 7.5 week course to get my basic certification initially because I have a seperate degree and job, I just want to begin getting into grooming as a hobby and as a thing to do to make a few extra bucks on the weekend/side. Nothing major.

I was wondering how much it cost for the Basic program and anyone’s experiences with basic pet grooming programs………does anyone do grooming of small dogs out of their homes as a side hobby job? How much can you make?

Hi guys. I really want a ferret badly! So I was wondering how much are ferrets usually? And how much do you thinks it would all be with the cage and accessories? I’m 16 going to get a job soon to save up for one so when I graduate next year. I love ferrets so I do want one. So please help. And please tell me how you can make sure a ferret won’t escape. And what kind of toys would it need?

I have a 3 month old kitten, and a plummer is coming over monday to fix a leak in the bathroom big job. Since i work i can’t be home while they do the job. Im thinking of just buying a cat kennel crate/condo to put him in. My son thinks i can use his big dog kennel cage. What do you think/
