I get very little sunlight in my apartment, and I have a yellow lily plant that is finally growing again, but the new stems and leaves are very pale from lack of chlorophyll. It is too cold still to put it outside for sunlight, and I was wondering if an aquarium light could do the job, at least until spring? Has anyone ever tried this?

Am 16, I want get started on my dreams, I got fired from my other job. I got blamed for something didn’t do. I would like to start off with grooming pet hair. Am not sure how old you have to be. What grooming school is by Lake Crystal Mn.

I convinced my friend with the chihuahua to spay her dog but she can only afford the low cost spay and neuter vans. She is worried they will not do as good of a job like if she had taken her dog to a vets office.
She is worried about it, any advise on easing her worries.

This is in my small 20 liter tank. i have a good ‘HOT’ filter from aquael which is overkill for such a small tank, but it gets the job done very well. the problem basically is that excess food and fish waste (small red clumps) tend to gather on the leaves of plants. And I, feeling like an idiot, have to ‘dust’ the plant leaves every couple of days, and watch them get sucked up into the filter. any recommendations?

My friends cat has tongue cancer, on top of that, she was recently just fired from her job for cost cut backs, and she can barely afford all the vet bills, let alone all the supplies she has to buy. I volunteered to buy whatever she needs for her cat. I am sending her a big care package, with everything it in (she lives in another state, so I have to ship it). I was just wondering if you guys know anyplace that will ship me quality cat supplies at low cost.

7 lb maltese is a therapy dog. I have a proscription from a therapist and from my doctor. She has a service jacket and it says therapy dog. I have her health certificate, tag and proff of shots. Will there be any problem having her on my lap on the flight/ She cannot do her job if she is in a carrier under the seat.

She brings me out of panic attacks, keeps me calm,, licks me if my blood sugar goes too low and gets my attention so I can take care of it immediately. I am diabetic on insulin, have bipolar and panic disorder as well as anxiety disorder.

I am way freaked out – what should I do??? Here is the skinny – I work for a small Vet practice – The Vet told a client, (this client wanted to out down his pet because she was old and was unable to keep up with the cost of meds, treatment, etc..) – that we performed an euthanasia..(per the owner’s request and signed a release form stating so) and had him pay for it. The owner declined being there when his pet was put down because he was so upset which happens a lot. A half an hour later I went back to the treatment area and asked if we had put the pet down yet and was told "keep this on the low down, we are giving the pet to one of our Techs to take care of instead of putting (pets name) down." I was in shock. We should have had the owner surrender his pet to us like we have done with other pets in the past and we would treat them medically and them find them a new home. On top of this, the document the Vet fills out was falsified and has to be added to this record. I know that the economy is tight right now but to charge a client close to 0 for a euthanasia only to NOT perform the euthanasia is so wrong and on top of that the owner thinks their pet was put down and instead is living with someone else. This happened a few days ago and I am very uncomfortable with this to say the least. Our Vet is very hard to talk to. Its either her way or no way. If I confront her I may lose my job for questioning her so called decision???? But I can’t sleep at night. I feel guilty knowing what I know without this previous owner knowing what is going on. They paid for a service that did not happen!!! The bottom line is they should have been given the alternative to have us keep the pet and find them a home. They were never given that alternative being as we are a small practice and only have a few Techs on staff. I asked the Tech if this client was given any other choice but to put their pet to sleep and he said "not at all". What do I do? Advice, please!!!!

so im a huge dog lover currently im a dog groomer and i love it but its psychically hard on me due to some back heath issues i’ve thought about doing dog therapy im just really curious about it and it sound like the best job in the world is there anyone out there that does this? do u get paid? whats it like? was the training of the dog hard?do you enjoy yourself?
