my mom has a one of those vaccum things that pick up all the dirt and nasty stuff and leaves it wet..i cant think of what its called lol anyway i was wondering if u could put natures miracle to clean up cat urine? i have kittens and apparently they dont wanna go in the kitty litter and went to bathroom in my room im just not sure where so i wanted to use the cleaner to get all over my floor was just curious if i can mix that stuff in it or no?

i’m adopting a kitty cat soon. It is only about five weeks old (yes i know they should be adopted at 8 weeks, but this one was abandoned!) and im gonna adopt him hopefully this tuesday. I need to know the VERY BEST brands of cat food and litter. I don’t want value brands from some store (well maybe if they are good..), I need the MOST effective stuff. I need the most powerful brand of kitty litter because i cant stand the smell, and i want the best brand of food because i want my kitty to live long and healthy. Price doesn’t matter that much, but i mean if its seventy dollars thats redonkulous. Please help me give it the best life possible

My kitten (5 mo.), a himalayian persian, won’t use the litterbox; instead he uses the newspaper like my dog. He scratches and paws at it like it’s kitty litter, yet for some reason he won’t ever use the real litter box… Is there anything I can do to get him to use the litter box? Thanks.

ok i went to to petsmart.com and they have fresh-steps kitty litter 25lb and it’s only 6 dollars good price and they gave it five stars but which is the best odor fighting kind to have the best kitten litter i need to know my mom and dad said i could have a cat but not a pet mouse.

I am currently fostering three beautiful kittens that are about 6 weeks old. I have had them for about a week. They eat and drink and play and sleep incredibly well. However, one of them (we named him Nelson) had unformed soft stools in in the first four or five days and I think he threw up on the first day. I watched carefully for more signs but his stool has gotten firmer and firmer but I was still worried about worms. Yesterday I gave in and looked for worms in his stool and the only things I could find were tiny round white dots. These dots could be from our kitty litter (Fresh Step) but does anyone think they could be the worms or would I know for sure? I heard that tapeworms are in rice like segments but these dots are really really small. None of the kittens had any fleas so perhaps these are roundworms or hookworms? Or perhaps it is just simply kittty litter and I am freaking out a bit?
If I were to deworm all three should I just use a regular roundworm/hookworm medication that they sell at Petco etc? Thanks to the person who suggested I stop obsessing and take them into the vet.

i have 2 sweet male cats that when they get out of their litter box they bring some kitty litter with them, now i can’t have a closed litter box because the one cat feels cornered and will pee outside the box ( found this out the hard way and had to research to fix the problem) and i’m moving into a new house, but the bathrooms are too small to put a litter box, i’m giving them their own bedroom but i want to keep it clean, any suggestions would be appreciated!

I know I have asked this before but I am still having trouble. I changed my litter from fresh step to tidy cats small spaces for multiple cats but it is still horrible. Honestly it smells kinda like dead rat if you know what I am talking about. I clean it every day at least twice a day. I used to empty it once a week but now that I switched to the new litter I have to change it twice a week. I have inlaws coming over this coming weekend and I don’t want it to smell like kitty litter in my house.

Should I change his food? He eats the canned friskies from purina (eating half a can in the morning and the rest at night) and the dry food during the day. He really won’t eat that much dry food. What’s the best kind of wet food that won’t make him smell so bad? He only likes the completely pureed food.

We have a 6 week old kitten, and she has been randomly using the carpet and forgetting about the kitty litter tray. She uses it most of the time but randomly pee’s on the carpet, regardless if she is in front of us or not. After she eats i put her in the litter tray and we punish her when we see her pee.. but does anyone have any suggestions to help stop this from forming a bad habbit?
