Are bully sticks safe for my dog in crate?

I am wondering if it would be safe to give my dog a bully stick when I leave him alone in his crate when I have to leave the house. He has a nylabone in there too but he doesn’t really like it. Any ideas?
Also, he doesn’t like Kongs…so any tips? Thanks.

What are some dog products you swear by?

Whether it be food, supplies, or a book, what product made living with your dogs more enjoyable?

I love the concept of kongs although I have never personally tried one.

What are some good strong dog toys?

I have a St. Bernard (as well as a Boston Terrier, but she isn’t the problem).. Every toy we get he is able to destroy. So far the Kongs have lasted, and a Nylabone chew toy. But everything else he’s managed to rip apart. Those Bad Cuz toys he’s chewed the feet off of, so yeah.. Any suggestions for toys that are durable?

Our two Siberians have been on Orijen for months now and love the stuff and generally are really thriving on it. We have noticed they eat more of it therefore the sacks go down quicker, plus they dont do a 15kg bag like other brands. They are still pups and we will stop feeding puppy at the age of 2, we also feed 6 fish which is £60 for the 13kg bag and the puppy is around £40 i think. We have recently got their annual jabs done, getting their anal sacks released, monthly flea+worming, and just got them groomed to fully allow their undercoats to come through, Orijen being at least £10 more than we would usually spend and goes down quicker! On top of that with Christmas coming up we made need to cut back >> by cut back i mean buy the adult Orijen (with chicken and fish) which is cheaper than the 6 fish. They have about 3 months supply of kibble and we will continue to feed Orijen ……. Just wondering if anyone else is making cut backs this year or has ever had to compromise with their dogs food ect..?
Thats what we thought, Our Christmas is going to be a little smaller this year anyway, we always go all out and eat far to much and throw far too much food away, were all older now and dont need presents galore! We decided no matter what we should keep them on Orijen, we just cant get over the ingredient list.. but thanks for that other food made by Orijen..will check it out!
Yes weve also decided the treats and toys can be cut down…these guys get a pigs ear a day and a toy a week, when the toy is about £3.99 and gets shredded in about 2 secs it’s not worth it. They can stick with their kongs for now, and have their pigs ears 3 times a week. There is no way we would stop paying:
pet insurance
high quality food
or vet treatments

and i tempted to say dog training sessions which they go to weekly, but at £60 for 5 sessions it’s not bad but it’s also stuff we can take home with us for a few weeks. But as it stands they can still go to their training, just have to switch to adult orijen from 6 fish.

I think its absolutely adorable when dogs walk around with their stuffed animals, etc….they look really happy with their toy….my dog seem to rip off those toys all the time…and her fun is not carrying them around or sleeping beside the stuffed toy, but she likes taken out all the coton and throwing it everywhere…and the tag is always a great target for her……its nice that she finds it fun….but like the toy i bought her today….didnt lasted for more than 2 minutes….. =/

any tips?
She has 2 kongs and similarly harder toys…but she doesnt like them that much….she seems to like softer toys but she always ends up destroying them….

well the toys that squeaks is exactly what i got her…and she ripped the toy into pieces to chew the squeaker but she was more into the throwing the cotton out…… =/

I already use kongs, but I’m just looking for some other suggestions. I’m worried he gets bored when I leave him.

My dog Natsha loves plush, squeaky toys, but I have yet to find a toy that could withstand her teeth. She is an older dog, but must have teeth as solid as Stonehenge, because she destroys her toys within 5-10 minutes.
She has toys like Kongs and things like that, but she doesn’t like them as well as she does the squeaky toys.
