My puppy is 12 weeks old.
I am going to review some training books, but I have to train him to walk on a leash, due to where I live.
Sometimes, he does just fine but mostly, he sniffs the ground and tries to eat mushrooms constantly, or he jerks the leash and goes nuts as if he has rabies and runs in circles on the leash.
Or else, he attacks my feet and legs, biting me until he breaks the skin.
What can I do to teach him better?

The mats are mostly on her rear left and right flanks just above her legs, but no where else. Is something causing this and what is the best means to resolve this? The ones are that are already in place, is it safe to just cut them out?
By cat is a domestic short hair btw.

My 7 month old kitten will not leave me alone during the night/early morning. He will sleep nicely in the bed with me up to a point and then he goes nuts. He jumps around the room, attacks my legs, and makes noise. I’ve tried playing with him right before bed to tire him out and it doesn’t seem to help. I kick him out of my room when he starts being bad, but then he’ll scratch or meow at the door for an hour until I can’t take it anymore and let him back in the room. I live in a one bedroom apartment, so I can’t put more than one closed door between us. Anyone have any ideas?
He is neutered and he’s the only cat I’ve ever met that actually likes water. lol
I’ll try the watergun idea though.

My friend came over one day with a little trial size bag of cat nip. He gave it to me and said to feed it to my cat. I did that and she started rubbing up against our legs and clawing at our jeans. He said cat nip has the same effect on cats as ecstasy does to humans…
What would happen if a human ate cat nip?

Has anyone heard anything good about magnetic dog collars for relieving arthritis symptoms in dogs? I have a greyhound who broke his front and back leg when he raced and now he has really bad arthritis. He also has a screw in each of his legs from the surgery. Any suggestions? He’s already on glucosamine and it hasn’t helped much at all. ANyone know anything I can do to help him out a little more?

For art class, I wanted to make a bird seed struture in the shape of life size body parts (arms, legs, etc). Online, I can only find tips to dip toliet paper rolls, bagels, etc, but it’s not big enough. Is there any way I use bird caging or non toxic plaster to form the based for the peanutbutter and seeds? Any ideas? I need help!

I have a 17 pound long hair cat. He always gets mad when i brush him. I’ve changed the brush twice, but he just doesnt like the idea of being brushed, especially where he needs it most (like his butt). At most he lets me brush him for no more then 2 minutes. If we hold him or brush him longer he gets really really angry. He’ll hiss, growl, bite and swat!
He’s now starting to get dreads and I dont know what to do. Is it best to take him to a groomer or is there some cat secret to brushing him?
Please help!
Thank all of you, but guys you dont understand, he is a beast. We pet him, hold his neck, his legs, and he freeks. I think shaving him might be the best way to go. Yah! Let the groomers do it. Poor poor kitty.
