I just got a rabbit and would like to teach her to use a litter box. How would I go about doing this?
i have 2 sweet male cats that when they get out of their litter box they bring some kitty litter with them, now i can’t have a closed litter box because the one cat feels cornered and will pee outside the box ( found this out the hard way and had to research to fix the problem) and i’m moving into a new house, but the bathrooms are too small to put a litter box, i’m giving them their own bedroom but i want to keep it clean, any suggestions would be appreciated!
I just got a kitten, he’s 8 weeks old and well-trained at using the litter box. The only problem is he does not bury his feces which leaves an unpleasant smell in the room. Is there a way to train him to bury it?
I need some help. I just brought my 1 1/2 yr old chihuahua home from my mom’s house. Does anyone out there know what I can do to train my dog to use a litter box? How easy or difficult is it?
Thanks!
My cat had normal litter box habits before she got hit by a car. During her recuperation and ever since, she goes in there 10 to 15 times a day and sometimes 3 times within 15 minutes. Very erratic habits. Sometimes she’ll just sit in there doing nothing for 15 or 20 minutes. It’s an enclosed litter box, and when she’s "done", she’ll sit in there and scratch at the inside of the box for up to 5 minutes. Very strange, and our vet has no explanation. Has anyone else out there had a similar experience?
Ok so it started friday when i noticed she was very lazy and that’s VERY unlike her. Saturday both me and my mother noticed she hadn’t eaten of drank anything. The alarm that set it off though was when she peed on my bed. It was so abnormal. i mean she didn’t just pee she sat there and peed all over herself!
so here’s the thing. She seems to have lost control of her bladder. she did it agian today except this time she was laying down and peed on her self and what not. Her eyes are really glossed over and she hasn’t eaten anything. she doesn’t voluntairly drink either. basically i have to force her. She is 1, and idk any of her family medical history. there was what seemed to be a cold going around but she is super bad and unlike any of the others. She has dried burgers constintly and dirt all in her fur. she DOES go outside but seeing as she doesn’t even have any energy to walk to the litter box we’ve basically isoltaed her in my room[we have 3 other cats, 2 rats, and a rabbit. but dont think im neglecting her. i spend HOURS with her] idk what else to add. please…please just give me an idea! i can’t take her to the vets atm beucase of money. so also if you have a solution to that. maybe an orginization that can let me loan money or give me a discount? please!
oh yea she seems to be getting more energy. alls i know is unlike yesterday she isn’t hiding in the corner. she allows me to pet her. but only within an hour after i give her water.
I got a litter box for my kitten and she still poops on the floor, under the furniture. How can I teach her to use the litter box?
I live in a 1 bedroom apartment with my 3 cats. What can I say I am a cat person. Anyway.. I have 2 litter boxes in the apartment and I buy the good kind of litter. I keep the boxes very clean but no matter what I do the apartment still smells like a litter box. I spray with air freshener and use febreeze but nothing seems to work. If you have any tips or tricks when it comes to litter boxes or on keeping my apartment smelling good that would be great. Thanks!
I have 3 kittens and I can’t get any of them to use the litter box. I have done everything I know to get them to use it. The mother is the only one that will.
I’ve heard that some cats are picky and like to have their own litter box, should I go out and buy other litter boxes for them?
They are almost 3 months old. They won’t go near the litter box, they like to use the carpet. It’s hard to be patiant when they are making my house smell.
We have a solid core fire safety door leading to the garage that we want to install a pet door in for our cats so we can put the litter box in the garage. Will we be violating the fire code by cutting the hole in the door?
