I have a budget and I want to feed my little puppy the best I can. I have found that Iams is a great dog food and is recommended by my cousin who is a vet and he doesn’t sell it at his vet. Also I do not think it is necessary to spend on food when a cheaper food will make your dog live just as long and just as healthy. So which would you prefer, Iams or Iams healthy selects?

We just got this little puppy who is 5 weeks old. Is that to little to be taken from its mom? If it is how should i take care of it to make it feel comfortable?

Ok so i bought this little puppy i say doesnt even weigh a pound its a chihuahua mixed. I bought him at a yard sale(mistake i know). i didnt ask how old it was i was too excited to take her home she was only 40 dollars you dont come around tiny chihuahuas for so cheap so i took her. Id say shes about a month and a half? she has no teeth yet maybe like 3 small ones BARLEY coming in. well i took her home and 3 days later she finaly poopd and i found a single worm size of rice wasnt moving. well i dont doubt this dog has its shots or any sort of medical treatmet so my question is roughly how much would it be on a first visit to my vet. I need to get her her first shots an i think something to cure the worms because i dont know if that was just one of MANY! I dont have much money seeing im only 17 and so at this time so what thinking of buying over the counter shots and worm treatment since my friend works at a pet store and gets discounts on things so itd be cheaper. I really need advise on this.
I dont doubt this dog DOESNT have its shot* had to reword that correctly.

I have a new little puppy dog and he loves people and I would like to register him as a therapy dog or a service dog. How do I go about doing this?

hello, i have always wanted a therapy dog. i have two dogs now but one is a bit fearful of strangers after an accident she had when she was younger and got hit by a car. and the other one is getting older and has a temperament toward younger kids with high voices and other dogs. so i am looking into getting a younger dog (under a yr is tht good?) or a little puppy. i want to know which dog breeds are good for therapy dogs. and i know that it depends how they are raised and trained. but also how the breed is whether they are a family dog or not. so i would like to know which breeds are good with people, and get along with other animals, and that i will be able to train to be a good therapy dog. (i am okay with a little challenge in training, but nothing out of control.) and also what are the requirement for a therapy dog as far as getting along with ppl? and other dogs? and anything else?? thanks in advance!
i would like a medium – large+ breed. and i definately do plan on looking up more, this means alot to me. i just want sort of ideas to look into. thank you all.
rotten rotts… i know that they need to get along people and dogs, i put that in as example of my requirements..i was asking what else besides that.. i have trained my dogs and outer family dogs. i know how to train a dog with good ol obedience

We have 2 dogs a grown one & a new little puppy. While the big dog does wonder off & comes back safely, the last thing we want is the puppy wondering off (following behind our big dog) and never finding its way back. So, I like to know all the tips in keeping our pup at home.
Btw, my parents aren’t the kind of people who keep their pets in the house; therefore, our pup has to stay outside.
Also, my parents don’t own a fence, nor do they plan to build one.

My little puppy is about 5 months old. And I just recently discovered he had worms in his stool. They are dead when they come out, but there is a lot. How can I get rid of them? And can a human get them?

My moms little puppy has really bad dry itchy skin and I just want some good dog shampoo for my dog and to make her smell good. So has anyone else ever used Pet Head dog shampoo? I am going to be ordering some offline. Or is there any other shampoos that are pretty good?
