I can’t find anything detailing what hamsters need, other than a good temperament and even-colored fur. While I’m not particularly interested in showing my hamster, I’d like to know if he’s show-quality. I’ve trained him to come when called, even.
I do love my hamster, and I don’t plan to show him, I was just curious. :<

I’m getting a couple live plants for my new 10g aquarium. While reading about them, I found out they have high light requirements. Would a typical incandescent hood with incandescent light bulb suffice? If not, would a flourescent hood/light work out alright? I’d really rather not get the flourescent hood unless I have to… they’re so expensive ><

I have a great dane, a catahoula cur (<another fairly large dog), 2 yorkies and 2 chinese cresteds. My problem lies with the larger dogs. I go through a 50lb bag of dog food every other week-which costs over . Each large dog is eating a tea pitcher full a day. Would they eat less on a different brand, or am I just feeding too much?

We have two 5 month old dutch rabbits that live in an outdoor hutch (Don’t worry about weather conditions, they LOVE eating snow and they are out of any damp areas and get enough sunlight. ) Anyway, there’s two of them and we aren’t 100% percent sure if they are boys or girls. They look like they are the same thing whichever that is. I know everyone says that its easy to tell because something pops up, but it really isn’t easy at all. They kick and squirm and get fussy fast so its hard to really get a look. But now when you pick them up you can really see a weight difference between the two. She hasn’t been that fat for long, maybe about a week or two. Maybe a little more. But when I saw the weight difference between them the first thing I thought was maybe she’s pregnant. And my mom’s friend came over and she used to have rabbits that mated a lot and she said she does look a little porky. She’s bright and alert and real fat. But HOW can i be sure she’s pregnant without going to the vet? And if I cant find out without a vet, how much will it cost to go and get her checked by a vet?? Please Help. Thanks <3

I’m trying to think of a cute name for my pet rabbit.
I’d like if if you could suggest names that are related to fruits/sweets (ie. Plum, Marshmallow), but they don’t have to be.

I’m having such a difficult time coming up with a cute name that satisfies me >_<

I have a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, and the brush I have doesn’t seem to work well enough to prevent mats from forming behind his ears and in his armpit areas. I need to know if Tricare(military insurance) will pay for a psychiatric service dog. NOT a seeing eye dog or a hearing aid dog or anything! A psych dog that helps mitigate the symptoms and problems of a person with a mental disability.
