I have SPA line dog shampoo and conditioner products for my shih tzu. It’s the soothing oatmeal kind and is SUPPOSED to help with her dry skin.

I am not reading that conditioner isn’t really necessary for dogs is this true?

I also just bought (waiting for it to come in the mail) the rapid bath bathing system, and I notice they don’t even SELL conditioner for the system, only shampoo… so… should I only be using shampoo?????

I’m just looking for other people who use/have used hemp dog collars. I just ordered my big ‘ole Labrador one off of earthdog.com the other day, it just came in the mail. It seems a bit thin, it’s very light and very soft – but seems to be quite strong. Does anyone else use hemp collars? Are they as strong as they look? Thanks.

well I heard most people say they charge for a half an hour walk, so I though for 20 minutes sounded good.

and that if nothing else – an hour was concidered the best, almost cheap even

so how does for twenty for 40 minutes and for a full hour, then maybe some discount (say 10%) if they have me walk their dog(s)
also I would like to get someone’s opinion on the prices for the dog cares options

the first one would include the price of a private walk, of up to an hour, and for all the services included. I also forgot to throw in dog bath and brushing

the second one doesn’t include a private walk, so say this with a thirty minute walk would be , with the baithing ang grooming and all the other dog care services, just minus the other household chores of taking out the garbage and such

alright, I am not being a smart*ss. I got really scared when they recalled all of the dog food because of being tainted. I am on disability and after paying my house payment and other bills I usually have about – left for groceries. I do not like charity organizations and I do not accept food or clothing from them. I have been eating Ol’ Roy brand can and bag(gravy mix) dog food much of the time. I don’t like it but I would rather not starve. My brother bought me this computer and pays for my telephone and internet( monthly). Sometimes my neighboors bring me a plate but I don’t let them know I am needy. I do not want to be needy. I just want to know if it is really safe for me to consume. Let me tell you, there is a BIG difference in being hungry for moms pot roast and being hungry because you really haven’t eaten anything. I have almost learned to just let my stomach growl even though it is a little painful. Is there any really cheap food anywhere?
I do have a dog for companionship and she never goes hungry.
no one will understand this, but, I only go outside to get my mail and a monthly trip to the store. I have been laughed at, stared at, and humiliated, including being told once that people like me should just keep to themselves, so that is what I do. Sometimes I don’t even know why I continue to want to live. I am not going to kill myself but sometimes I feel like it would be easier. If my dog died I might. I can’t give her away because I have had her since she was a puppy and she doesn’t know anyone else.

I would like to adopt a kitten, but my parents wont let me because they think we have to many animals. (3 dogs, 1 cat, 3 hamsters, and a fish tank)

I absolutely LOVE animals, and my pets i have now are taken care of, my hamsters are my only personal pets, and I can definately handle a cat, since we already have 1 cat we already have the food, and litterbox, and a vet. My cat i have right now is 11 years old, and doesnt socelize with people at all, she would just rather be alone, and is usually outside, (she is an indoor/outdoor cat, just like our dogs), my new kitten would only be indoor tho

we also have 3 coupons for a free spay or neutering, it came in the mail, so we wouldnt have to pay for the spaying. He is up to date on his shots and everything like that

how can i convince my parents that i can take care of this kitten, ive thought everything out already, ive got money, ive got the supplies, ive done the research, how to convince them we dont have to many animals???

It is also summer vacation right now, so i am home 24/7, i rarely go out with friends (not that i dont have any), so i would be able to supervise the kitten at all times, my dogs dont bother the cat i have right now, one of them wants so desperately to become her friend, but my cat Nala, just wont have anything to do with a dog, I realize i have many animals, but they are my LOVE, animals is all i care about

Back in June I bought a small bag of Iams for my cats. I was out of food, we were going out of town for the weekend and didn’t have time to go to Petco for their regular food. I ran into Walgreens thinking I’d buy a box of Cat Chow to get them through the weekend, but saw they carried Iams. I always thought it was at least as good as the stuff I feed them (Science Diet), and figured I’d give it a shot.

The cats loved it, but we noticed they were pooping more and it stunk to high heaven. I guessed that it was because there was a lot more filler in the food and immediately switched back to their regular food.

A few weeks ago I signed up on line for coupon book for Swiffer, Dawn dishsoap and Cascade dishwasher detergent, all products made by Proctor and Gamble. I got the coupon book in the mail yesterday and guess what else Proctor and Gamble makes? IAMS!!! I was shocked to say the least, but it now explains why Iams went from a respected pet store only food to a mass marketed grocery store food.

You might also notice that their ads say that more veterinarians recommend it over any other GROCERY STORE brand. In my opinion, that’s not saying much.

So my question: did anyone else know this pet food manufacturer is now owned by a company that is know for it’s cleaning products? If you were feeding your pet Iams before they started selling it in grocery stores, did you notice a change in the food or has it always been the same quality?
