I am going to have my friend stay at my house with my two pugs while I am gone on vacation for about 10 days. What is a good daily rate that I could pay someone for this? They are free to come and go as they please. They just need to be sure that they let the dogs out a few times a day and give them their medicine.
Oh yeah, the person needs to stay overnight, and it’s fine if they have people over, as long as it’s not a big house party.

My mother gave me two different dog medications. I wasn’t listening carefully and assumed it was for the same dog. My dog is about 68 pounds, and I gave her the regular heartworm medicine she usually takes: Iverhart Max for dogs 50 to 100 pounds. It turns out the other medication I had was for my chihuahua, who is only 4 pounds. I assumed it was for the larger dog, so I gave it to her. The medication for the 4-pound chihuahua is Sentinel Flavor Tabs for dogs 2 to 10 pounds.

Could this harm my larger dog?

Its not really the snuffles, its just a snotty nose, a sneexe and a bit of weepy eye. My bunny isnt nearly as sick as a rabbit we had that died (of that and old age), but the antibiotics we have are for large animals and im scared to give him too much of it for too long (it mixes with his water). What kinds of antibiotics can i look up for my rabbit? We’re going to a TSC to get the medicine.

I gave my dog 1 tablet of Interceptor heartworm medicine on the 12th (last Tuesday). My mom didn’t know I had already given him the medicine and she gave him another tablet. Is this bad? What should I do?

She’s almost 3 yrs now; I apply a topical flea prevention medicine every month (since she was 2 months old when she had her first check up at the vets office). It kills fleas, flea eggs, larva, mosquitoes and mosquito eggs. Since she’s been tested negative for heartworms should I still consider giving her a heartworm prevention medicine?

My 18 month old Shih-tzu cross dog was neutered yesterday, May 4th. He takes his heartworm medicine the 5th of each month. Do you guys know if it’s safe to administer it to him today? I was a little too scared the whole day about the process, and impatient to go back to the clinic to pick him up that I totally forgot to ask the vet there. I will call in the morning once they open but wanted to get some insight on here as well. Thank you!

I have a Betta fish which I keep in a 1 gallon of water in a vase. I do a full water change about once a week with bottled spring water. My fish recently came down sick and I am treating it with medicine but I heard aquarium salt should be added to the water to help speed up the healing process. How much do I add? Do I just add some every time I do a full water change or just when he’s sick?

I have a 8yr old chocolate lab. He’s overweight by probally 2 pounds and has bad yeast infections in both of his ears.He plays ball and walks outside for about 20 mins a day. We put medicine in his ears about twice a week and have even tried feeding him yogurt but nothing helps. I heard that the raw food diet is more natural for the dogs and will solve all his problems in time…fact or fiction?

After 2 weeks of waiting, I finally got the meds in the mail and saw that they traveled from AUSTRALIA! I thought I was ordering from the U.S. Does anyone order from this company? Has anyone used the medicine they ordered from there, and has anyone’s pet been harmed by anything ordered from this site? It worries me b/c of the international trip it took and the fact that the Advantage tubes look different from what I get at my vet office. I just wanted to save money. Ugghhh. Now I’m afraid to put this on my cat.
