Im trying to convince my mom to let me get a ferret and she says that she doesnt want it in her house because it smells bad. How can I reduce it other than changing the litter often?
FYI,
my cat was feed 2 meals of Purina Cat Chow (while I was away this past weekend) She normally east Purina one, but the store was out and my mom bought the lower grade Purina Cat Chow.
My cat has been urinating all over and in paing when doing so, also constipated and has no appietite. I am taking her to the VET as soon as I can.

My mom has 2 cats and a yorkie, obviously don’t want him eating cat food, and my mom feeds her dog Purina, and I feed mine Nutro Ultra.
Anyways I don’t want him getting into food that doesn’t belong to him, or eating brands that are bad for him. I pick up his bowl after 15 minutes, my mom leaves her pet’s bowls out all day.
Any advice?
My dad agrees but I have to convince my mom, she says their nasty, but she had pet birds before. I really want hamsters and please give me some lines to say to convince her I’ll take care of them and I am responsible enough, thank-you for your answers.
She a 7+ year old chihuahua mix. She is usually very good in the house alone but lately shes been peeing everywhere and ripping up the sofas. My mom wanted to put her outside but i refused because there are slugs and beetles and animals that are bigger than her. So I’m wondering if you have any tips for crate training an older dog
We have two small dogs and my mom hates them peeing inside all day. So when im at school, we keep them in a dogrun. Dont worry it is big has a doghouse and a roof and a part where the roof is wire so that they can get sun,they have jackets when its cold,and extra water when its hot. I was just wondering if leaving them out from 7 to 3 on weekdays is inhumaine. When I am at my dads house they come with us and live inside when we are with him
Oh my goodness… I am so mad. My mom just told me that my dad fed my cat a lot of her puppy’s dog treats. I am so unbelievably mad you have no idea because I have told them COUNTLESS times to put the dogs food in his room and to NOT give it to her.
Apparently he gave a lot to her, can she get sick? I’m going to call the vet and ask right now but I just wanted to get an opinion here too.
My mom was telling me how she wants to throw out some of our dog’s worn out beds since we bought her new ones. I suggested that we donate them to an animal shelter. I can sew, so I can patch up any holes and I can also add more cotton stuffing into them. They are faded, but I don’t think the dogs will care as long as they are comfortable. I think especially now, the shelters could use all the free supplies they can get. My mom thinks it’s a good idea.
Do you think the shelter would take them?

Also, my dog is a very large dog (she’s about 100-110 pounds) so her beds can fit any size of dog.
They are clean and in good condition, I may need to patch up a few holes but I haven’t looked at them too closely. I’m also donating some brand new blankets and canned dog food to the shelter that I bought.
I’m sure they could be sterilized, just wash them in hot water with some soap. My dog has never been sick.
If I try to trim my cat’s nails she’ll scratch me and won’t allow me to do it, but I need her to stop clawing my mom’s leather furniture and the wooden cabinets. She doesn’t like the rope scratching posts. Can someone recommend a good post that will dull her nails so they aren’t so sharp and something she’ll be likely to use instead of the furniture, thanks
