My cats eat whiskas. From the brands I mentioned (Purina proplan, nutro and Royal canin) Can you rank them from best to worst? My kittens are 6 months old.
Price, quality.flavor. Thanx.

I have a one year old golden retriever, she was on Nutro’s Natural chooice for large puppy before. After I read all the reviews, it seems like that blue wilderness is a better quality food with no grain and by products. However, it only comes in one formula. It is suitable for a breed dog such as a young golden retriever? or should I go with the blue buffalo chicken and brown rice for large breed adults instead?

I’d been feeding my kitten Nutro for indoor cats and she would eat a lot all the time, but now I switched to Iams for kittens and it seems she doesn’t eat as much (she does eat it just not as often as usual). I don’t know if this food is more filling or if she just doesn’t like it.

She had a parasite in her intestines. The vet gave her flagyl which took it away. 3 weeks later she had diarrhea. They tested her feces but no parasite. The vet said to change her food. I now feed her Nutro for Seniors, no wet food, but she still has soft stools. She is 10 yrs old. Any suggestions?

I want to switch my four-month-old pit bull/German shepherd puppy (who is allergic to grain) from Nutro to an all raw diet or maybe raw food with some kibble.
Any information is appreciated as I know nothing about feeding raw food. I didn’t even know you could do this until last night.
Menus, amount, type of food, price, etc.
Thank you!

I currently feed my Akita mix the lite formula from Nutro. I know this isn’t the greatest food from reading the label and I want to switch. I’m not concerned about the cost of the food but it has to come from Petsmart. She is about 10 years old and 50 pounds but she should weigh about 40. Thanks in advance for your ideas or suggestions.

And should i use the same brand if i mix the two? I hear so many different things…like that Iams and Royal Canin is good but they’ve both been recalled and so has Eukanuba, which are all good foods ( i thought) and I currently feed my cat Nutro for dry and canned, but i haven’t been hearing good things about that either, so now i’m just confused.

My cat Lionel is ten years old and still active. However he has had reoccurring urinary tract problems. I recently took him to the vet and they gave me a cat food (Prescription Diet C/D) which Lionel is supposed to eat for the rest of his life. (It has low magnesium).
My problem is that the food is very expensive and I have to go to the vet everytime to get it.
Is there another kind of dry cat food that is available? I heard that Nutro is a good brand. Also, I would like suggestions on any alternatives beside the dry food.
I can ask my vet these questions but I would like to have a 2nd (and 3rd, 4th etc) opinions from Yahoo answers.
Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!
