I know its not the BEST dog food, but its all I can afford right now and it has chicken as the first ingredient and seems to be better than Pedigree. Will I get better results using Nutro? And how long does it usually take to notice a difference? Please don’t recommend any other food. If I could afford it I would of bought it. Has anyone here used Nutro Max? And what were your results?

I know, call me a bad owner. I’ve fed my dog Beneful which I didn’t care for. Now I’ve switched to Pedigree but I guess it’s bad as well.
So what kind of good dog food can I buy that is inexpensive? And I’m not talking 30 dollars for a bag. 6 dollars is really all I can afford.

Scary thing is this is not a joke, there is no punch line….
Latley I have noticed that most of the major chocolate companies also have wholly owned subsidiaries in the pet food industry. A few examples are Nestle who owns Purina, and M&M Mars who own Doane Pet Care Company, who produce the familiar brands of Pedigree & Whiskas, among others…
So… Can someone explain to me why these two industries are complimentary? Does one produce a by-product that serves to benefit the other?

I am very picky about my dog’s dog food. I got a Chinese Shar Pei weighing 50 lbs (over weight because doesnt run with me, but takes her on walk for 1hr a day), and is a bit over weight so i want to put her on a diet. But I also have a very fit german shepherd (loves to run!) who loves to eat constantly. Right now i just ran out so i needed dog food very fast so i bought pedigree (i no its terrible, but was in a hurry) I am thinking of putting my dogs on raw dog food, but i hear it can be coastly. Is there anyway i can have a raw food diet without being so coastly. Please Dog Help!!!

I want to adopt a papillon puppy and I read that Pedigree, Iams, and Purina are not good to give to dogs because they don’t have the nutrition that both puppies and dogs need. What type of dry dog food is healthy and safe for them?
