I have a 1 year old long haired chihuahua/dachsund mix. I could take him outside to pee, he’ll go, and then put him in his crate 5 minutes later and he’ll pee. I thought dogs didn’t go where they sleep. He doesn’t poop, though. I made the crate smaller, took out his bed so the pee wouldn’t absorb, but he’ll just lay in it. When he pees on his bed he actually licks the wet spot. What’s strange to me too is that he will just stand there and pee. No squatting or lifting leg. Just stand there as normal or walk around. One time he was laying on my lap and let it flow (ha). One time he was just walking in the living room and let it flow while he walked. Accidents out of his crate are rare (but still annoying), though. I wonder if something is wrong. I thought maybe he doesn’t know when he has to go, but when I take him outside he’ll squat or lift his leg. So he does know. And he’ll jump at the door to let us know to take him out to pee. I don’t know what to do. Help!
I also took the dog to the vet and they prescribed antibiotics. Did not work. We also walk him every couple of hours to no avail.

I have an almost 2 year old, indoor, spayed female cat. Her litter box was cleaned a couple of days ago and she’s had access to it. However, she peed on our carpet yesterday and this morning I found her sitting in our shower (which is 10 feet away from the litter box) with pee all around her. She seems fine other than this but she’s never done this before. There have been no major changes lately in her life either. Should I be worried?

I have a bissell spotbot and uses the manual vacuum to get up the dog pee and ten use Natures Miracle to get rid of the pee smell in the carpet, but now the spotbot reeks of urine, it’s in the hose, in the waste container and coming out of the little fan, anyone know how to clean it?

I have a cat pee problem and read that Nature’s Miracle is a good pet stain/odor cleaning product. However there are all these different types – Urine Destroyer, Advance Stain and Odor Remover, Just for Cats Urine, (regular) Stain and Odor Remover…etc (I could go on). Is there really a difference?? I’m confused which one to get now.

The pee and poop of three dogs have turned one area into a fly hangout. I pick up everyday but was away and wife and kids didn’t pick up religiously. Now the yard section cornered for the dogs stinks the dirt and I need a solution.

No other products worked, so I used some natures miracle, and it’s been about 36 hours, and all I can smell is natures miracle, which really stinks. I also pulled the carpet by the corner, and put a little bit over the padding, because I really didn’t smell any pee on the padding. I also put some Natures miracle on the bottom of the carpet, I used A LOT and it even soaked through the other side. I want to make sure that the smell doesn’t come back, because someone said if the room gets hot, the smell will return. How do I make sure it’s really done. And I can’t replace the carpet, because I’m 14, can’t afford it, and i’m not allowed to

AGAIN: I CAN’T REPLACE THE CARPET, BECAUSE I AM 14 YEARS OLD, AND MY PARENTS WON’T LET ME. so guys. stop telling me to, please

How do I get cat pee smell out of a piano?

I recently inherited a piano from an older lady who allowed her cat to pee on it for years. Other than the smell it’s in great shape, and I can’t afford a new piano. I need to know how to get the cat pee smell out!
Note: The cat peed on the base of the piano the most, soaking through the wood, rusting the pedals, and even ruining the finish on the wood. The keys and the top of the piano are fine, but the smell is pretty bad.

How to get smell of cat pee out of a rug?

My two cats started peeing on the edge of one of our rugs. We have since gotten rid of the cats, and I took the rug outside, to let it air out a bit. It rained unexpectedly, and the rug got wet. I brought it into my outside hallway, and it reeks of cat pee. Is there any way I can get the smell out? It’s so gross! And I love this rug.

I just got a cat and she is older, about 6-7 years old. She poops just fine in the litter box but will not go pee! We’ve kept her confined to a room for a couple days but she is still peeing outside of the litter box. It is an covered litter box and we used Scoop Away litter.
