Every time i go into petco to shop i see all the employees wearing the same thing(blue shirt, tan pants) but none is ever wearing a jacket/hoodie. Are you allowed to wear a jacket?

ok so i have a puppy about 7 or 8 months old that i just adopted and she is a lab/collie mix so of course she has a lot of energy but i need her to sleep at night because she loves barking at 2 in the morning every day. And i cannot loose sleep every single night i have school to go to which means waking up at 6am every day.

so what i did was i started riding bike with her for about 10 to 20 minutes of straight running a good 30 to half hour walk every day and i play fetch and tug of war with her on top of just petting her and sitting with her so this dog gets a lot of attention and work from me [ she also goes to the dog park almost every weekend with my friends dogs]. this got her tired enough to finaly get into sleeping at night at least until i wake up at six and i am so desperate because i just had surgery and i havent had time to exercise her and she went back to barking and i would have to go outside spray the barking spray come back in wash my hands and go to sleep all night long non stop. i hallucinate barks im going crazy i need help because i dont want to give her back but i cant take it anymore she is driving me insane.

i dont want to put a shock collar on her because those are horrible and inhumane i just want something to distract her and be more annoying than painful

I’m turning 16 soon and I’m going to need a job. I’m very interested in animals and I would love a job working with the animals in the pet grooming center at our local petco. Does anybody know what kind of training that requires?

If you were required to get a bark collar (we aren’t but we know someone who has to get one for their boxer and their Corgi/Snauzer mix and their doberman mix) what kind would you get?

Okay there is this no bark collar that I found about two months ago that I was going to suggest but now can’t find it anywhere. Have you heard of it

Basically it would give off a warning beep (sonic beep)

And then if the dog wouldn’t stop barking it would give a slight shock.

And it is programmed to ween them off it. And I think it would be a good idea.

I told them they could try the sound one but it didn’t help my dog.

I always told them the collar is a training tool not a permanent fix and suggested they get those dogs in some classes.

I don’t know the whole situation but I guess the dogs were becoming a nusance.

But if you have heard of this collar could you let me know because it seems like it just vanished.

Maybe it wasn’t a good one so it didn’t last?

They said its usually one dog that gets the other two going…..their dobie mix.

The dogs bark when they are away and I guess the neighbors got tired of it. They have a house with a yard but I believe the dogs stay inside
I’ll be honest I think this family is a little in over there head with these dogs but they said these dogs are so important to their kids
This specific one ( I got on the website of petco and petsmart and I dont see it anymore and I was sure it was on one of those)

I’m not a fan of the bark collers but all I can do is offer to help a bit and not judge (which I’m sure they are getting a lot right now)
Not my dogs so don’t preach to me……its basically either they do it or they could lose the dogs and pay a heavy fine
That was to tulip……and those citronella collars don’t always work……most dogs will bark through them or turn them. That is what we were told when we got the sound collar for our dog (which we felt was a mistake)

when i subscribed for PETSMART’s PET PERKS online they sent me the laminated discount card through the mail.

i signed up for PETCO’s PET PALS card online and i haven’t received it through the mail all i got was a printable version but i want the good copy of it,
