I have recently been printing my photography prints on fabric. I really liked the print and wanted to incorporate it into my bedroom, and decided to to stuff it with foam (anti flammable) and make it into a dog cushion bed.
I’ve made quite a few, in different depths – some can fit inside a crate and others more like a dog bed.
A few of my friends were really interested in them and suggested I start selling them at a local car boot – just as a hobby.
I’d really like to do this, but I don’t want to sell pet products unless I am satisfied that they are safe.
How can I do that?
I can get hold of waterproof and inflammable material, easy clean, heavy duty thread, pet friendly foam etc etc, but what else do I have to do before I can legally sell products for pets?
the beds are like this

Our two cats are running laps around the house, fighting with each other and being all around hyper since yesterday. We think it’s due to the full moon. I read once that pet emergency rooms (as well as human ones) are usually the most busy during the nights of a full moon. I’m wondering if any of you have experienced this crazy full-moon behavior with your pets OR with yourselves?

I’m doing a paper on how pets influence people’s health and I’m currently looking for claims that do not support the idea that "Pets improve their owners’ health by relieving stress".

We’ll be traveling internationally with Continental and Lufthansa. Both airlines have different size requirements. Lufthansa is 21.6 x 15.7 x 7.9 inches. Continental is 18 x 11 x 11 inches. Are they going to get out tape measures at the ticket counter? If we’re an inch or two over will it be OK? It’s impossible to to find pet carriers that are exactly the dimensions required. All tips about flying with pets would be greatly appreciated.

My family consists of myself, my fiance and our 8 month old daughter. She is breastfed but eats a lot of solids and some table foods. We spend 0/week on groceries and I am beginning to think this is just ridiculous and that perhaps I just don’t know how to shop. I know for a fact I don’t know to cook LOL And I know that would save me some money…
We also don’t cut coupons or shop at discount grocery stores. My fiance is a junk food junkie and has several pricey treats he seems unable to live without. (25 years old and he will eat an entire box of Gushers in no time…yeah, the gummy fruit candy with the gross stuff in the middle.) We also have pets and the week during the month when we need to re-up on their food, it ends up being – more expensive.
So how many people are in your family (and what are their ages) and how much do you spend per week on groceries? Do you have any tricks to help me cut this back a little?

The last "reported" number I saw was 16, but I think that is a bunch of crap!! My sister’s co-worker is probably going to lose his dog; the poor thing has been at the vet’s office for 5 days and isn’t getting better. My vet has lost 3 animals and another local vet has lost 2, so I figure if 5 pets are known to have died from this (within a 35-mile radius of me), the number has to be in the thousands nation-wide! And, no telling how many pets died from "unknown" causes before all of this hit the news. I think these pet food companies should come clean and tell us the truth! I feed her the Ol’Roy jerky treats they just recalled, and I am scared to death that my food (Little Cesar’s) is going to be next, even though they say not. (I’m overreacting I guess.) But, everytime I feed my miniature dachshund, Laci, I feel like I’m signing her death warrant!

I want to post blogs about life, but also have some info about pets, gaming stuff, coupons/freebies, maybe art and i don’t know what else. But all of those categories can be articles for a blog or whatever. So I’m a little confused on what I should use. I’m a little confused on the difference between the two as well. What would you like to see on a blog/ website?
I was going for a free website host or free blog host

Is there health insurance for pets and if so how much would this cost for a healthy 12.5 year old Rhodesian Ridgeback mix?
Is it possible/feasible to get organ transplants for pets?
My dog is healthy now, but since he is getting old now I want to plan ahead.
