How much have puppy obedience classes made a difference for you?

My three month old pup can’t seem to get it through his head that we are the bosses, not him. I don’t want it to go on like this so that he becomes an adult with a dominance issue. I’m interested in enrolling him in the puppy education class at Petsmart, but I wanted to get some feedback before I shell out 0.

What is the best bird cage for a budgie and what is it called?

I’m probably getting a budgie around christmas time, and I need to know what cage is the best for budgies and what it’s called. Also, can you recommend toys and if any of you have gotten a bird at petsmart, tell me the process that they do there.

I have been looking for free printable coupons to grocery stores and pet places like petsmart and giant and weis and that fish place. Most sites i either have to download the website or it takes me to a bunch of other sites that dont help me. i mostly need pet product coupons because i have a lot of pets. also, i need websites that wll work in the store. some sites i have printed coupons from it and i could not use them.

What is the best dog food for my 10 year old golden retriever with cancer?

That I can buy at my local petsmart. My 10 year old golden retriever was diagnosed with himangiosarcoma and her tummy has fluid and she’s really skinny. Some days she acts good then she looks like she’s hurt and she breathes heavy. I feed her nutro as of now when she eats it.

my puppy will not eat any dog food, soft or hard, is there a brand that's preferred over others?

9 week old chihuahua wont eat purina puppy chow, and we’ve tried a soft food from a can (got it at petsmart). Our dog will eat hot dogs, bologna, and steak but wont touch his dog food. BTW we have given him human food only after several days of his refusing to eat dog food. Any advice?

What is the protein content in Nutro Natural Choice Lite dog food?

I bought Nutro Natural Choice Lite dog food, which is listed on the Petsmart, and various other, websites to have a crude protein of 14%(min,) yet on the package it says the protein is 17%(min).

Anyone know why this is and what the actual protein content is?

need help finding a cheap outdoor dog run?

i just took a pitbull out of a very bad situation, and im not allowed to have a dog, but my neighbor said i could keep him at their house, but it just has to be in an outdoor dog run while im not there. i cant find any under 100 dollars. he will only be in there for about 8 hours, the rest of the day, he will be with me the whole time. i’ve checked petsmart, petco, and craigslist, and everywhere is over 150. any suggestions?

What should I do??? Dropped off Dog for a Routine Haircut at my Petsmart, had to pick her up from hospital-?

I dropped my Cocker Spaniel ( Who Means everything to me) off to get her hair cut at the grooming facilities at our Petsmart store here in the city. I was called 3 hours later to be told that un unfortunate accident occurred and that my dog was Transferred across the hall to the Pet Hospital for stitches. They explained over the phone to me that while shaving the dogs head, she (licked) the clippers and lacerated her tongue. I proceeded to ask when I could come to get her and they said they would call— they never called- about 3 hours later I call them and they explain that shes still unconcious, hooked up to a catheter and an IV. I leave immediately to arrive to all the higher ups consoling me, as at this point I am crying and very confused, knowing that somethings are not making sense. They hand me a plastic bag that has her leash and collar inside (soaking wet and ruined) they say "we accidentally "dropped" these in water) sorry". I ask to see my dog, they refuse as she was taking some time to "come out of it". Finally, I recieve her back, and shes playful, but very lethargic due to the drugs- The Doctor tells me for 10 days, twice a day she is to be on a strict soft food regimen, and is required to have her medicine twice a day- to have an entire day open for the appointment to remove the stitches. They told me they would all be calling me personally to see what the progress of the dog was over the next couple of days. The receptionist added "honestly, your taking this a lot worse than your dog is" and pointed out that the blood all over her jacket was that of my dog. They didnt charge me for the surgeries they performed or the groom that was HALF performed. They offered (but never gave me) a coupon for a free groom for next time. After returning home, I continued to observe my dog as she bled through her stitches, yelped and cried throughout the night. The following day, I heard not one word from Petsmart. None of the employees called to check like they said or anything, the only call that I recieved was from the receptionist at the hospital- she left a message. I still dont know the name of the actual person who groomed my dog. They told me "she was only scheduled until 5", as I stood there at 5:15pm. demanding to know what was really going on. So Now, I have written to Corporate and they write back saying it may take 3 to 5 days to hear back on their personal resolution, meanwhile Im working on keeping my dog as comfortable as possible. I have no idea how to handle this!! Please offer me your advice- what would you do??
