Is there a product to neutralize dog urine?

My lush green back yard has become patchy and discolored with different shades of green. We got a german sheppherd pup in January and I’ve been told dog urine will do this to your lawn. Is there any products on the market to neutralize this so I can get my beautiful lawn back?

Thanks!
Thanks for the link. The vet can really put a hole in the pocket with the cost of these meds.

Pretty confident that the pup doesn’t have them (just at the age to start them on the meds), but may as well be safer than sorry and get a test.

Thanks guys.
Thanks Chealsea. Yes, I meant prevention. I’ll just get the test done at her next visit. Thanks again.

I have a Siberian husky puppy and a Siberian husky adult dog. I have been giving the adult dog bones since i got him, but im not sure what his actual age was. I dont want my baby pup to choke by giving it to her too young, so what is the appropriate age that you can give a dog a bone?

Hello, I have other questions about best dry dog food..
However, I did not clarify on what I’m looking for..

I want to a grain, soy, wheat, corn, by products, artificial flavor etc etc FREE product. I know grain is not necessarily a bad ingredient but I’m not not sure why there’s grain free product also.

I have a 6 months old Yorkie/Pomeranian – who is being fed Solid Gold – Hund-n-Flocken Puppy- Lamb Flavored. After debating over Solid Gold and Blue Buffalo – I found a new location for Pet Food at warehouse prices rather than going to Petco or Petsmart. (Pet Club)

I saw coupons of 10$ off of Blue which would be around 37$ for a 30LB bag. I really wanted to try the Fish Flavored but unfortunately the puppy brand only carries lamb for Blue… (I do not feed my pup Beef or Chicken), that’s when I came across Solid Gold sitting right next to Blue for only 39.99$ for a 33lb bag(came to be around 42 with tax). I heard a lot about Solid & wasn’t sure whether Solid or Blue was better because Blue is also a very good brand..

I went ahead and bought the lamb flavored with many other stuff in it that are good for dogs & i believe fish is involved in this? I heard fish is really good for dog’s health & coat & the blue didn’t offer fish for puppies.

Down to my main question, I know which top brands there are such as evo, orijen, acana, cannidae etc etc but they are too high in protein and are for highly active or athletic dogs.

In conclusion, I want to know which dry dog food is best for moderately active or nonathletic small breeds?? For adult dogs because by the time I finish the solid gold puppy, i believe my puppy will be an adult. Thanks.
My puppy has tried Avoderm, Blue and Solid.

She likes them all – lamb flavored..

What type of meat are good for dogs? Besides lamb? ( I don’t feed my dogs beef or chicken – I also have a 3 year old chihuahua on Avoderm Adult – lamb – but she eats the puppy food from solid too )

I did like Avoderm but they’re just ok so I switched ( not going back to it )
I forgot to mention that the reason I am picky when it comes to dog food is because I want something best for my dog’s health & coat since my Yorkie/Pomeranian is said to be an average shedder due to being mixed with Pomeranian. (she has no signs in shedding, probably just a few hair once in awhile)

I do not want my dogs to shed & I have read that to have them not shed or not shed as much is to have them be healthy & most importantly dog food plays a role in that.

So dog foods that helps the coat, best tasting, free from all the unwanted ingredients is a win-win situation.

However, I don’t always want to feed them the same type of meat flavored.. But will not resort to chicken & beef..
—————— FORGET THE ABOVE ——————

Ok, at this local pet store I go to, prices are unbelievable cheap.
There’s an isle in this pet store where most of the good brands are at. Solid Gold right next to Blue to Taste of the Wild, right across from it is Wellness, Merrick. etc. Surprisingly Solid Gold is the cheapest of them all.

The reason I don’t want beef or chicken is because I’ve read where dogs are prone to be more allergic to chicken & beef than other types of meat. I don’t know if that’s true, however I just want higher quality meat content rather than just chicken or beef.

I know shedding is genetic, however feeding them right will help them shed less. (as I have read) & using the right shampoo & just being healthy.

—————

I just want to know which formula is best,, easy digestive, great coat, no soy, corn, etc etc. 4-5 star brand food that is great for moderately active small breeds..

& which meat content is great for long term feeding. I hav

I got a puppy a couple of months ago and was feeding her Purina Puppy Chow. She developed a bladder infection and the vet said it was probably the food I was giving her. She recommended Hills Science Diet. We got the pup meds and she is all better now but the food is about 3 times as expensive as most brands. Does anyone know of a comparable dog food for less cost?

What brand of dog food should I feed my dog?

I am getting a pup (sheltie) in about a month, and don’t know what kind of dog food to feed. I feed my cats Orijen dry and Merrick wet, but don’t know if they make dog foods. What dog food do you recommend and why?

I have a German Shepherd pup(who by the way does great in her crate now, thanks to all that helped), and I was wondering if the notorious GSD stance could be taught or is it something that just comes naturally to them? I see pictures of pups that are weeks old already doing that stance. How can I have my pup stand like that sometimes?
If they are taught, how can I teach mine?

We are hoping to get a male German Shepherd pup. Personally, I would love to adopt, but my mom is insisting on getting a full blooded German Shepherd from a breeder.

What kind of toys should Rottie mixes have?

My Rottie mix loves balls. She has one squeaky ball that I got her when she was a pup that she loves to play with. But with plush toys she chews them up as fast as she gets them.

I do have rope and tire toys but she doesn’t play with them.

My brother’s dog is a blue heeler and he has a plush toy and he doesn’t chew it but he loves to play with it and fetch it.
