We need to have both doors for our pup and are not sure of the logistics. How would both doors open while the puppy is passing through with the small amount of clearance between the two doors? Thanks for your help.

I am writing something where a young girl finds a puppy in an abandoned dog house. She skips school and sneaks out of town to visit it daily, then decides to take him home. Only, he won’t leave. It has to be pressing enough to make her miss her bus.

It’s hard for me to think of something because I haven’t owned a lot of dogs, and I’m not familiar with what they are capable of.

I just got an 8 week old Yorkie pup and he seems to have anxiety issues at night. I planned on having him sleep with me once he was a bit older, but he won’t stop whimpering when I’m away! He sleeps with me on the couch, but my bed is MUCH higher than the couch, so if he fell I’m afraid he’d hurt himself critically. Do you have any suggestions on puppy-proofing my bed? Or maybe how to calm him down?

I have a 12wk old puppy and when he plays he likes to bite. I have small children and they love our new puppy but tends to get frighten when he bites. I would like to stop him from doing this but continue our playtime. Can anyone help me with this?

Hello: I have just brought home a new puppy, a german shepherd. He is 9 weeks old. How much time should I spend with him a day? Is it ok to have him outside for any period of the day? (The temperature is about 9 degrees,its March and spring in Canada) Does he have to be with me all day? He is whining quite a lot, its the second day we’ve had him, and he was crying all night it seemed;/ it was a hard night – I appreciate your advice, thanks.

We just got a puppy 2 days ago and now he has to stay home alone until 4 pm 4 days a week. He is crying all day, according to the neighbors. Is it going to make him a neurotic dog? How long does it take for a puppy to get used to being alone during the day?

I’ve had the new puppy for a week. She is 8 weeks old. My other dog is 2.5 years old. The older dog is agressive towards the new puppy and the puppy bothers her. They are both female Chihuahuas. I got the puppy so that my other dog could have a playmate. How can I get them to get along?

ok so i have a puppy about 7 or 8 months old that i just adopted and she is a lab/collie mix so of course she has a lot of energy but i need her to sleep at night because she loves barking at 2 in the morning every day. And i cannot loose sleep every single night i have school to go to which means waking up at 6am every day.

so what i did was i started riding bike with her for about 10 to 20 minutes of straight running a good 30 to half hour walk every day and i play fetch and tug of war with her on top of just petting her and sitting with her so this dog gets a lot of attention and work from me [ she also goes to the dog park almost every weekend with my friends dogs]. this got her tired enough to finaly get into sleeping at night at least until i wake up at six and i am so desperate because i just had surgery and i havent had time to exercise her and she went back to barking and i would have to go outside spray the barking spray come back in wash my hands and go to sleep all night long non stop. i hallucinate barks im going crazy i need help because i dont want to give her back but i cant take it anymore she is driving me insane.

i dont want to put a shock collar on her because those are horrible and inhumane i just want something to distract her and be more annoying than painful
